I picked up my i3 on Saturday.

Email received mid morning confirming payment received (discount applied, thank you Durzel), followed by waiting for collection location. This was a bit of a faff as the collection point in Birmingham wasn’t accurately pin pointed, a quick call resolved the issue.

Arrived to find 3 identical i3’s awaiting collection, I of course tried connecting to the wrong one! Brand new car, 30 miles on the clock and a full battery. Immaculate inside and out, dashcam fitted (it could be tucked a little higher but isn’t too obtrusive).

Great drive from Smallheath in Birmingham to Kettering, gave me plenty of opportunity to try a good mix of roads. The car performed faultlessly and I arrived home very relaxed (it had been an early start in Düsseldorf).

Loving the experience so far, have tried the home 3 pin charger and will try out a polar charger later in the week.

Nice one smile Glad you like it and thanks for the referral smile

It's a sprightly thing isn't it. Great fun around town and the performance from even the non-S is just great.

I do think Evezy have to do a better job with dropoffs, I found the whole experience of going to a random Holiday Inn to pick up an abandoned car rather peculiar. But, I've had no issues since so can't complain.

Questions
1) How much are additional drivers?
2) How much tracking do they do? Go x amount over 70, or keep testing the acceleration and get a cancellation pop up on the app?

Evezy reserve the right to maintain and protect vehicles and to prevent and detect crime by using electronic devices to monitor the condition, performance and operation of Evezy vehicles and/or to track the movement of Evezy vehicles.

Because driving for Evezy requires maintaining a good driving record Evezy may from time to time check Drivers records and reserves the right to suspend the relationship with any Driver who does not meet Evezy’s eligibility requirements
3) Guys, be aware. TWO HOURS TO LET THEM KNOW

Fail to notify Evezy within 2 hours after an accident or loss; or fail to pay any other amount due under this Agreement.

Failure to report an accident / damage fee: £500 above the cost of repair if the driver can be proven to be aware of an accident or damage they caused, but failed to declare it within 2 hours.

1) £10
2) They can't do that much as I have never had a message and I have tried the full extent of the acceleration several times and have driven at my normal speeds on the few times I have been on the motorway.

Some one posted that the dashcam is "passive" and there is no facility in the app to be given "warnings"

EVEZY are a startup. It is really simple...if you tend toward paranoia do not sign up with EVEZY. Otherwise sign up and enjoy the benefits.

Just read the tandc's. Looks all standard stuff to me, aside from the 2 hour thing.

If they are recording then you should be careful though!

The two hour notification clause would seem to back up the comment that the tracking is passive.

If it was active they would know if you had had an incident.

just on M3 deliveries....

I placed my Evezy 4 months deposit on 3rd July for a Performance . They told me yesterday it would most likely not be arriving in August

however, I can have a LR at the end of August and then swap that for a Performance when they arrive in September (or later?)

As the monthly is the same that's what i will do. If the LR was cheaper I'd prob just stick with it.

Interesting, I assume you are in the second batch that they have coming?

Interesting. I imagine I'll be in the same boat, who did you speak to out of interest as would like to get my name on the list for that option.

Do Evezy cars come branded with Evezy logos, like Zipcar for example, or just plain normal cars?

No just a tiny sticker on the side window with a QR code.

Has anyone got a Zoe out of them recently? I signed up a couple of weeks ago but I'm still on the waiting list.

Not sure how many cars they have due but the last of the ZE40 orders are being handled by Renault before gearing up for ZE50 production.

If you need a car sooner then maybe consider taking one of the others for a couple of months.

Ref my Tesla order.

Just had an email saying my order was further delayed....it’s definitely a little disappointing seeing as they have more than £3k of my cash on deposit..

Excerpt here:

“ Tesla initially confirmed we were receiving the Performance in July/August, however, they have recently notified us we they will be delayed until the end of September. We do not have a confirmed date as this is still subject to change from Tesla.

We know this isn't the news you were hoping to hear, and we will be in touch with you separately to discuss this further.”

I also have confirmation that if I can’t get one by October they will refund my deposit. That’s nigh on 3 months with my deposit which is also more than Tesla itself we’re asking. Well there’s not a lot I can do at the moment so just keep waiting....

I've just received this from evezy ref. My SR+ order:

We have been advised that we are due to start receiving the Standard Range Plus and Long Range models throughout the next few weeks and we will be allocating them in the order you placed your reservations.

Looks like they’re not getting any P models. Hopefully you will be getting your SR+ soon ??

That'll do me. My intention is to keep the SR+ until April, then buy a performance through my company once the revised BIK rates kick in.
