Performance models have definitely been ordered but are not being delivered as quickly as hoped. Probably end September or maybe into October.
Hence I swapped into a LR as I want the car more quickly, and they promised me I can simply switch when the Performance ones finally arrive. Although one could wonder if there will actually be that much difference - at the end of the day they are all black with black. Tesla Model 3's and I doubt the real world performance is that noticeably different (both 4wd). But as one of their sites is 10 minutes drive from me I definitely will "upgrade". Same monthly cost for the LR despite lower ticket price is presumably based on lower predicted residuals?
Either model being on the smaller wheels will I think will be an epic Q car. which is how I like it in London

Um, what makes you think they're not getting Performance models? The email pasted above suggests they will be arriving later than the SR+/LR, but not that they weren't coming at all.
Okay I'll re phrase what I meant, it would seem like they (Evezy) are not getting any P models in the first batch but will get them at a later date around the end of September....maybe.Frimley111R said:
Not sure if he is on here but one of our customers was due to pick up his P Model 3 last week but was on hols so they gave it to the next customer!
such a strange business model they have, it makes buying one very difficult if you have a car to sell doubly so as you have no bloody idea what month your car will turn up in and when they do finally tell you they only give you 4 days to raise the money or they give it to the next punter ...

Yeah what has collecting a P Model 3 got to do with Evezy?
Tesla's attitude to customers not being available to collect their cars at very short notice at the peak of school holidays period is a known problem, but is not relevant to Evezy who have said they aren't going to have any P cars for at least a month or more.

Evezy were on Radio 4 at lunchtime today. The founder said they were looking at alternatives (or possibly updates) to having to use the phone to access the car but he said that the reason for it is that it takes a lot of costs out of their model, not having to manage physical keys. He said they have over 1000 cars now out on loan (rental?).

Maybe sign up for 6 months or more and get a key? That would suit us, as the wife does moan about the phone unlocking/locking, I don't mind really. Plus we already signed up for 6 months to get the £500 grant towards the EO Home Mini charger.

From what I heard, seems like they are working on some kind of keyless entry from your phone (i.e it unlocks when you are in range)

Not sure how that's different - current system uses RFID / bluetooth - its just not in the windscreen, its inside the car - works fine, yes
It just uses Bluetooth, not RFID. I think an RFID card or token would be better than Bluetooth personally. In the last 4 months we've had our i3, its worked well 95% of the time, but it really doesn't like it when I try to connect with my phone not long after my wife has used it with hers. Even more so when you're in an underground car park and it just sits trying to refresh the booking. We then have to restart both phones to make sure the bluetooth isn't connected to either, and retry again. It was a stressful 5 mins stood with an upset toddler, bags full of the weekly shop and a moaning wife asking why we can't have a key!

Hi all,
Apologies if this gets asked a lot but, does anyone have any idea of the waiting time for a car once you sign up? My current lease goes back in a little under two months and I was thinking evezy might be a useful interim until the next one arrives but, it doesn't seem to give any indication of the wait.
Cheers!
