Not sure if this allowed so apologies if not mods.

Try the EVEZY thread over on SPEAKEV, a lot more active than here.

It's now more than 8 weeks since I was supposedly added to the waiting lists for Ioniq, Leaf and i3 but I've not had a single email about it.

Is this normal?

Yes, I posted on SpeakEV about this.

I have been on i3 waiting list since middle of August, and today got an offer for an i3. Because I'm away for work until December, I couldn't accept.

So, you can see that the waiting list for i3 is just over 8 weeks. Someone also posted on there that a lot of those other cars are longer - up to 12 weeks.

You should be expecting an email in the next few weeks, but obviously it's not an exact science of when cars are returned.

To answer your other question, they don't email at all between you signing up, and getting an offer. It is a very strange disconcerting process but to be fair to them they have been incredibly polite and patient when I've called them during this period.

One thing they did tell me recently is they are getting an order of i3 cars very soon, so hopefully the backlog will clear out and not just be dependent on returns.

Has anyone tied in EVEZY and a salary sacrifice scheme?

I work for an organisation who don't offer salary sacrifice yet, but I'm hoping I can persuade them to.

Ok thanks for the info, as you say it is very disconcerting.

It seems as though my lease may be coming much earlier than expected and I may not actually need an ev by the time one becomes available now!

You've got it easy. Some of us handed over £3k+ back in July for a Tesla Model 3 Performance and are still waiting. weeping

Today I called to change my SR+ to performance, I was told I'll have the car mid December.

I wish you good luck, but as you say at least you have an SR+ in the meantime.

Out of interest did they ask for another 4 month deposit to order the Performance?

Initially they did, yes. However I pointed out I've already done that once, plus an argument that I could cancel before taking delivery is a moot point because a) I already have a car from them and followed that process once before and b) as they said themselves, they would have no issue passing it to someone else who is on a wait list.

Interestingly, I got choice of colour, bar red.

Now that is interesting. I wonder if current orders will get the same choice as not overly keen on a white one personally and could be tempted to delay if other options a possibility.

Good news on the deposit also for future reference, if they do add the Model Y or other interesting 'premium' cars to the list it would be a pain to have to find another 4 months up front.

EVEZY Tesla Update

Model 3 Deliveries

This is what we have been waiting for - a new batch of Model 3's is finally (almost) here! The ship is due to arrive this week and we hope Tesla won't take long to get the cars to us. We are waiting for a specific date when they will deliver the cars to our operations centre, but we have confirmed that they are on this ship.

We will be contacting you in the order you placed your reservations, as soon as Tesla confirm the delivery date.

If you miss our call, don't panic. We will follow up with an email to make sure we arrange your delivery. If you don't get a call from us this time, hang in there. Our next delivery won't be far away.

Needless to say - we want to confirm that as announced when we received the previous cars, all home deliveries will be free of charge.

It looks like I'm going to need a temporary car between my V90 lease going back in March, and getting a Polestar 2 (hopefully in June or July). I was thinking seriously about getting an EVEzy to fill this gap. However, it sounds like there are months long waiting times, often with no visibility of exactly when you'll get a car.

I don't need a Model 3, I could probably do just fine with an i3, Ioniq, or something for a few months. Should I start the process in January or is it just to much hassle for what is only going to be a few months? Buy a cheap banger instead?

No harm in putting your name down in January, there’s no obligation unless you’re looking to get a Model 3, and I don’t think they are subject to the same delays.

When you actually get the car - they see sublime. I’ve had mine (I3) since middle of April and it’s been great.

Any idea what the current wait is on an i3 and any Model 3?

i3 is about 8-9 weeks, no idea on Model 3 but they keep pushing them on people...

I think joining the list in January with a view to get a car in March is a pretty reasonable expectation. Also, this is exactly what it's for - short, no commitment rentals.

The very long and detailed forum posts do confuse it somewhat - Evezy is, once you're off the waiting list, supposed to be a low-commitment model, it's just the waiting list that's a pain - and many people on it are loving it as a longer term solution, so it's built up a good fanbase of people who talk in detail about what is actually quite a simple model!

Not sure what you mean by pushing them on people?

People ordering M3's now are getting delivery estimates of mid December. A good chance a few lightly used i3's will come back off hire as people swap into Tesla's over the next couple of months. New Zoe also due in the new year apparently.

I agree it's a simple model but in all honesty it's very different to what people are used to so they like it explained to them in detail as are looking for a catch.

i signed up on Evezy the other day, discovered the site just by chance when i was looking at PCP deals out of utter frustration for my current car (which failed its MOT despite the fact i spent a small fortune fixing all the bits that could've failed it lol, i even washed it n everything)

prices seemed too good to be true, but then i guess it cant be a scam if everyone here thinks there alright, and everyone on speakEV thinks there alright as well

got added to the zoe waiting list, 6-8 week wait apparently, email says its first come first served, so knowing my luck someone else will be quicker to call em up than me haha

truth be told i wasn't going to bother with the EV thing, buuut never know i might like it, certainly will be nice to drive a car that isnt falling to bits - and i suppose electric is cheaper than petrol at £1.30 a litre so thats a plus

probably going to pick it up from Manchester - i'll keep it for 12 months n see what i think, if i like the zoe i might go for the i3 after

anyone know if there still doing new-ish zoes? or are they giving out used n abused ones these days?
