I ordered a model 3 SR+ end of June and got the car end of August
I have now ordered a Model 3 performance mid October and was advised delivery mid December, contacted them on Tuesday and was advised sorry Tesla didn't give us many cars, call us back in February - I think i will give up and keep the SR+ a little longer then hand it back.
As good as the car is, i'm thinking of switching back to a petrol car.
what is your thought process behind the possible switch back?I have now ordered a Model 3 performance mid October and was advised delivery mid December, contacted them on Tuesday and was advised sorry Tesla didn't give us many cars, call us back in February - I think i will give up and keep the SR+ a little longer then hand it back.

The screen freezing about every 2 weeks, no audio from speakers roughly once a month, unable connect to Tesla theatre almost daily, autopilot not working most days, fit and finish in some areas is more akin to Dacia, cold weather range loss, cold weather increased power consumption, range that is very optimistic, windows that shake when you close the door, wipers - dont get me started on the wipers,
The evezy app has broken 5 times in 3 months - quickest fix was 2 days, longest 5 days and evezys standard response - do you have 4g or wifi? have you cleared cache, have you uninstalled and reinstalled, have you tried on ios as well as android. Its usually a result on tesla changing their API, but takes someone like me to moan about it for them to even look into it, they have no monitoring to pick this up.
Carrying a few things from the shops and having to fiddle in your wallet to find the key card or just having to use the key card every time is starting to grate on me. Using the evezy app means either multiple attempts to connect resulting in errors and then a 10/15 second wait for it to connect (and then error) sometimes vs 7/8 miles of range drop every night.
My friend has the tesla app and tbh his experience is so much better, and i agree that the bigger battery of the LR helps, but even then - if you only do short journeys then the range is no where near what is quoted.

The new Evezy app that uses bluetooth on the Tesla seems a lot better than that. Been using it on the i3 for a long time and very rare to have an issue and if there is one a bluetooth restart on the phone normally resolves very quickly.
Yeah on that evezy app using Bluetooth, evezy stated in their Tesla Thursday email that I would be visited by evezy to set this up, I've had no Comms. From evezy as usual, I've emailed them twice with no response.manracer said:

How do you get on this Tesla Thursday email?! I'm on the wait list since last week, have had no emails after the initial one they asked me to confirm whether I'd like to join the waitlist...chamsters said:

I havent had one this week (they did say it was a weekly thing but surprisingly they dont send one where there has been delays or a f**k up on their app.I was added to it automatically by evezy - id drop them a mail to ask them to add you to their distro group.

I'm now getting quite anxious about this.
few weeks ago hadn't heard of Evezy but it was the answer to exactly what i was looking for (switch to tesla, returning lease in march etc)
In the past week since i've joined the waiting list, it appears they've removed full self driving capabilities and restricted driving age to 30 which cuts my missus out the equation.
by the time i actually get a car what else will they scrap??

To be fair, you don't get charged until your subscription starts and you can cancel right up until the car is sitting there for you, so if you don't like the terms then don't take it.
As someone who was on the waiting list a long time (i3) it was frustrating but it was ultimately a compromise to wait in order to get a good (and flexible) deal. I had the benefit that I didn't NEED a car that badly at the time, so I could do that. If you really want the car you want, a lease is a far more secure option.

Not the case with Tesla's though. You pay a 4 month deposit (£2,400 to £3,200) up front which then covers your first 4 months subscription payments once you receive the car. If you choose to cancel before delivery you'll lose the first month (although they have offered to refund the full amount for long standing orders due to the delays and a couple of subscribers did choose that option). As someone who was on the waiting list a long time (i3) it was frustrating but it was ultimately a compromise to wait in order to get a good (and flexible) deal. Once you get the car you can still cancel after 1 month and get the other 3 refunded.
They had my £3,200 for 5 months (July>December) but now I have the car I won't need to make a subscription payment till April.

Ah, apologies for the misinformation, I'll crawl back to my non-Tesla hole!
As a subscriber of 2 cars (i3 and Model 3) I've pretty much covered every possible option over the past 9 months.
There are definite compromises to Evezy like the waiting times, insurance excess and only having app access to the cars but for me the overall cost and flexibility offered make it worthwhile.
With the 1 month commitment it certainly seems a good way for people to at least try out the move to EV with very little risk and for a very good price compared to other options I've seen.

I finally got the car 4th December..
I will say their messaging is very poor so quite possibly changed things, lot's of very unhappy people still waiting on cars for months and now being told February at the earliest though.

You need to sign up ASAP if you want a car for March. My ref code is in a post above if you'd care to use it.
Signed up using your code. My lease V90 goes back mid-March, so hopefully they'll have an i3 for me to fill the gap to my Polestar 2 (or CPO Tesla if the P2 turns out to be too expensive).Wonder if EVEzy will add the ID.3 to their fleet.

They're being cagey over what will be on the list moving forward, the only thing I do know is that they're pulling both the Hyundai Ioniq and Nissan Leaf so there will definitely be a gap in the mid-sized range below the Model 3.
Just signed up today with a view to trying out a Zoe.
Wife's car can be VTed from about March so hoping I can arrange a suitable date and then give electric motoring a try.
I reckon I can get away without charging at home, meaning I shouldn't have any costs at all other than the subscription.

We're house hunting so in temporary accommodation. We are 9 (windy road) miles from any public chargers, never mind a rapid CCS Polar (more like 20-25 windy road miles), but we've been doing OK so far. The big secret (if it's a secret) with the included Polar subscription is that all the CYC chargers are also included, which is many of the chargers you find in towns on the street.
Between the occasional rapid charge on a longer journey before we head back 30 miles away, and CYC-type 2 (slow/fast) charging whilst we visit somewhere, we've found it works well with our i3. I'd love to be able to 3-pin it at home... but we're surviving... just gotta find a home!
