Another software glitch
Wing camera on drivers side suddenly stopped working on two occasions. Blind spot light and touchscreen also lost. Big problem driving on the motorway especially with changing lanes. Passenger side camera at full brightness.
Seems to only happen if wing mirror folded when parked.
Audi UK apparently aware of issue.
For now, the advice is: “ Find a safe parking space, turn off ignition for at least 15 minutes and MMI system will reset itself “.
Is it legal to drive without a wing mirror?

"Yes, it's illegal. It's not illegal to drive without the passenger side wing mirror, provided the other two mirrors (offside wing mirror and interior mirror) are intact. However, you legally need two working mirrors and one must be on the driver's side.A"RobDickinson said:

Side charging ports are standard fit these days .. it's not an issue and I've done 10's (probably not 100's yet) of public charges
The best place is the front, like the Niro, Kona, Leaf, Zoe and some of the other Audis. All the well designed cars have it at the front where it won't get the cable ripped out.Side charging ports are just an accident waiting to happen. Good luck.
As for the Audi, it has zero appeal to me.

I've always found a front charging port to be slightly inconvenient as it forces you to drive forwards into the space and reverse back out into moving traffic.
Rear cross traffic sensors help. Most charging bays are extra wide too so you can see a lot easier. You also have to consider the on-street parking situation where you are parked parallel to the curb. Side ports mean either sticking out into the road or onto the pavement, neither very desirable.
I suppose ideally cars would have one port at the front and one at the back.

The e-tron was on my shortlist for next year, but have seen too many reviews now that put it behind the competition.
Suppose it comes down to what you want out of the car.I've just provisionally ordered an E-Tron, in the main for the following reasons;
1. I wanted a car that could comfortably fit 5, with luggage when required, and be able to throw a dog in the boot occasionally. Out of the EV's available this only left the Tesla Model X or the E-Tron
2. I've generally had an Audi of some sort for a lot of years, mainly A6 or Offroads, and have had no issue with them or the service they provide. They have dealers local, which I cant really say of Tesla, and not as much of Jaguar
3. I still to some degree buy cars based on looks and genuinely prefer the Audi to the Tesla. I do like the Jaguar, but it fiesnt suit me in other areas
4. I'm leading it through my business, and the E-Tron is significantly cheaper that either the Jaguar (SE) or Tesla Model X. The one I've just ordered (3+23 basis) was £450.00 per month plus a few options, which took it to £497.00. Quotes for the Jaguar on the same basis were nearer £550.00 plus options (although does seem to have come down recently as plenty of stock around), and the Tesla around £1,100.00 plus options. I've only looked at 2 & 3 year deals as think the BIK will change dramatically at that point and dont want to be stuck with an 80k with a high BIK.
In essence, the only other car I didn't consider was the Mercedes, but just dont like the interiors.
Each to thier own though. I've read the same reviews, the Jag is by fars the better drivers car, the Tesla has more bells & whistles, and us faster, but the E-Tron for me will take me and my family to where we need to get, in a decent level of luxury and comfort, with a range more than sufficient for the journeys I do.

I know they shouldnt but many people prefer driving into a narrow space and reversing out into a big space
It's not as simple as that. The end of the car that is doing the steering makes a huge difference. Lazy cretins who drive forwards into parking spaces are the reason for so many door dents and corner scrapes.Witchfinder said:

Here’s mine, a returned edition 1 (no idea why it was returned).
Charged exclusively at home from solar panels and Tesla battery. 201 miles from full charge. Drives beautifully and quiet. Don’t like the artificial whine, meant to warn pedestrians. Interior not bad, better than my old RSQ3 and X3 M40i. Still learning all the foibles. Has the wing cameras, reduce width but have to be manually folded in ( should have been sorted before release), also viewing position for screen too low.
Driven 1000 miles so far, will update
Hopefully the mirror glitch is just something that gets resolved quickly with a software update. I'd trust (!) Audi a lot more to fix the early glitches than JLR.
I test drove an E Tron yesterday - it doesn't appear to have much " engine braking " ( regen) compared with either an i3 on an i-pace , meaning that you have to drive it using the brakes all the time . For those that have one or have driven one - is that normal ?
I did try the paddles but didn't seem to make any difference

Audi chose to give it a more ice like drive and only portioned a small amount of regen on the accelerator, rest is accessed by the brake pedal I did try the paddles but didn't seem to make any difference
