can you guys share the companies who are quoting £450 for a lease please?
VWFS.£450 per month on a 3+23 basis, 10000 miles per annum.
This is I believe strictly available to business users (but suspect 90% of interest will be from such).
If of interest email Ben at fleetsme@vwfs.co.uk

I test drove an E Tron yesterday - it doesn't appear to have much " engine braking " ( regen) compared with either an i3 on an i-pace , meaning that you have to drive it using the brakes all the time . For those that have one or have driven one - is that normal ?
I did try the paddles but didn't seem to make any difference
Haven't had a look around the inside of an E-Tron, but what are the paddles for? I thought all the electric cars were single gear, aside from the classic EV conversions?I did try the paddles but didn't seem to make any difference

I don't know how to quote, but in relation to the paddles I can explain! I was lucky enough to have one all on Friday. Drove it 180miles.
So the left the "minus" paddle, does two things, one pull, adds the first stage of regen, and two pulls adds more regen, both very mild regen, the right paddle + cancels the regen....
However, if the car has adaptive cruise control then the regen is controlled more effiecently with this, thus allowing the car to coast when lifting off the throttle. I couldn't quite manage 1 pedal driving arround town, but did when out in the country as it locked onto the car in front and adapted quickly.
If you don't spec the ACC, then not sure how it would drive on 1 pedal?
One thing that did surprise me in the economy or lack of! 2.1 miles per Kw. its a very heavy car..

It's by far the least efficient EV on the market.TBH I just couldn't get past the name no matter how good it is. Everyone is calling it the Audi Turd now, it's never going to shake that moniker.

Blimey . My wife has a French degree and has never heard of that . You are telling me “everyone “ is calling it that ? I’m impressed (not )
Once the word got out it was always going to become it's unofficial name. Apparently if your phone is set to French and you type "etron" without the accent it even helpfully corrects it to turd for you.My phone is in English although the predictive text has sometimes got me in trouble ( finished a race , text should have read “ finished second , “ but that read “finished sex “ , so the etron should be a breeze ......
ordering one for the wife next week to join the I pace 👍🏻

There's a dedicated thread for the Turd here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=90...
Getting some national coverage: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6668697/A...
Maybe you could ask them to take the badge off or something.

That thread you quoted is nearly 10 years old and this is the first time I've heard the e-tron described as the Audi Turd.Getting some national coverage: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6668697/A...

I think your campaign is a lost cause, move on.
