NEW BMW 330e ordered.........
Discussion
Got mine yesterday, short term lease until I choose my next company car - Which is between this and a Tesla Model 3.
Initial impressions are that I love it, leaps and bounds above my previous 320d. Very impressed, good sound system too.
Delivered with an empty battery and I need to spend some time doing electric only journeys.

A couple of questions for owners:-
1. Run flat tyres are an option so does the car come with a spare or a repair kit?
2. Is there a way of pre heating the car? Mine would be kept in a garage plugged into a charger.

2. Pre heating is the same as the old car, programme on I-Drive, app or button on key. Also able to choose the days of the week on the program now.
A few hundred miles in, just ordered some winter tyres as I'm taking it up the Alps () in January.
Good points:
Drives brilliantly
I can do my small commute to the station and back on battery
Pre-heat is excellent, I've not had that on a car before
Lights are very good
Sound system is very good
Seats and driving position are comfortable
i-Drive is easy to use
Gearbox overall is good
Annoying points:
Driver's side ventilation is poor, I'm borrowing the passenger vent. This was the same in my F31
Spotify app drops connection, known issue, fault is with BMW according to Spotify. Requires fixing in an update
Battery range overall isn't fantastic
Kickdown takes a little while if you are not set up in the quicker modes
Still a happy boy

Glad you're also enjoying it, quite a Jekyll & Hyde experience swinging from fuel miser to decent performance when you get the Xtraboost and Sports Box together.Good points:

Did you get Laser lights or just the regulars?
I've not bothered with the Spotify app but used the BMW connected Music or whatever it's called (the few months free trial thingy).
Annoyingly I set up most of the settings in "Guest" profile and then later on decided to login using the BMW connected account, which means resetting everything again, including turning the lane departure interference bks off lol
Sure the battery range will improve, with the temps - regularly 370-380 hybrid range after fill ups now, sure that will be 400 when warmer.

I have been told a tip, a long press on the dash button of the car with a green light around it, will turn off lane departure etc.

Yes - you can configure it through the settings, knocked that button by accident once and noticed it kick back in again!I have been told a tip, a long press on the dash button of the car with a green light around it, will turn off lane departure etc.
Are you bothering with having a charging point, suppose it depends if you take another PHEV after this?
I've got PodPoint coming to me in the new year which should make life a little easier than just charging over night as I do currently.

My company got a grant for fitting my charger at no cost to me. No idea if it’s still available as it was three years ago but worth looking into to.
It's a Govt incentive open to all with a car that qualifies(new or old) - £500 towards the costThey claim it on your behalf and you pay the difference, at a guess your company either negotiated the price down or paid the difference

I thought about getting a charger installed at home but I have a fuel card so see no benefit in using my own electricity to charge a company car.
That doesn't work does it, by buying a PHEV we loose the fuel card and then go to claiming mileage at HMRC rates so the incentive is there to charge then. Orion917 said:
Question:-
In the Connected App I can't see any efficiency information? For my old 330e there are three tabs, REMOTE, eDRIVE and INFO. For this new car I only have two tabs REMOTE and INFO. Just me or does everyone else have the same?
