It lit up when I first plugged it in but there was nothing at all all after that. The light on the car turned to the weird light green when I plugged it in but then nothing after that

The ring light on the charger should light up white when plugged in and no car connected.

You could possibly try testing/ changing the 13 amp fuse in the plug, but it does sound broken.

3-pin charging on my P2 works fine - been charging from my home solar this way this week.

My understanding from various forums is production for the MY2024 cars is starting roughly in the middle of the year. Given it takes about a month for the cars to be shipped over to the U.K., Polestar are quoting deliveries of the MY24 from Q3 this year. Realistically, I’d expect that to be September.

I’d be very surprised if anyone got a MY24 instead of a previous model without Polestar asking for more money, as the new model is considerably more expensive.
Spoke to the folks at Manchester yesterday, I have a my24 SMLR plus/pilot on order placed a week after the books on the new car opened. My delivery date is currently October, they are saying they won't get their demonstrators until September.

Interesting, so the first time I plugged it in the light lit up, then nothing after.. may try swapping the fuse and see if that makes a difference

Mrs. received a message from Polestar this afternoon - we now have a registration number and a handover date - May 30th! Still no sign of the charging point install or the unlooping and fuse upgrade from SSEN though so will have to chase them up. Looks like we might have to use the granny charger for the first while irked

And here it is! Very pleased, although the mrs (not terribly technical) was a little bewildered after the handover but she'll get used to it.

Is that magnesium? It looks fantastic! My magnesium P2 with all packs has been sitting broken at Bristol since the start of May with no sign of a delivery date yet. Seems to be several in the same position with Polestar being no help at all!

Is it just me or is it extracting the urine a bit to take this long for delivery considering I ordered in August and was told at that point to expect it in January?

No it's white - Polar white I think? It's metallic/pearlescent so it does shift a bit in strong light, can see that in the photo.

Ours was ordered early Sept 22, at the time ETA was March or April, that then slipped to June then July and then out of the blue a few weeks ago my Mrs got a message saying they now had a proposed delivery date, which was today. When you say yours is "broken", do you mean there's a problem with it?

Still waiting on SSEN sorting their st out before we can get the home charger in, that's another month away - we'll be getting used to the public charging network in the meantime, or making do with the granny charger...

Yeah something is wrong with my car unfortunately. It arrived in Bristol on 2nd May and hasn't moved since so I spoke to Polestar who said there was an issue with a software update failing which has made it undriveable. There seem to be several others in the same position based on the Facebook groups with most being told nothing more than there is a "delivery block" on a batch of cars with no ETA for resolution.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer but the most frustrating part is a complete lack of information on what has happened and when it will be fixed

Ah that's a shame. The chap that did our handover today did say when it says that there's a software update available, give it a good week or so before installing, for exactly that sort of eventuality! I presume part of the pre-delivery prep will include updating the software though so at least it happened there, and not on your driveway or while charging at a motorway service stop.

Ours has the Plus pack, mainly because we both drive the family car regularly so we wanted the memory seats. I was surprised to find today that this doesn't include memory steering column settings - definitely first world problems and all that but I'd assumed electric memory steering went with the seats.

Has anyone experienced the Polestar Test drive where they come to your home?

The nearest location for a showroom/dealer is 2-3 hrs away.

Snow. It’s a pearlescent white.

Yes i did - i had an extended 3 day test drive where they dropped it off at my home and then picked it up again.

Not quite the same as you have to have had a shorter test drive first to request the longer one, but the experience itself was really smooth (except a little confusion over the AM/PM drop off....)

Our leasing firm have sent us a "special offer" for a maintenance plan for our Polestar 2, this covers stuff like tyre replacement (due to damage or wearing out), brake pads and discs, service costs etc. The cost of this runs to about a grand ex. VAT (we're on a business lease). I'd be astonished if we got through a set of brakes in three years, tyres well we have 20" wheels so they could be the thick end of a grand if we had to replace all four but as we have the single motor model I'd expect we'll just have the fronts to do, if at all (barring punctures etc).

On the face of that it doesn't seem worth springing for the maintenance plan but the bit I don't know is service costs. We're told it's every two years or 18k miles, we're not high-mileage users so we'll almost certainly only have to do that once during the lease. What's the going rate for servicing a P2? I can't imagine there's much for them to do so hoping it's not much!

Well the first three years servicing is included, and probably amounts to a brake fluid change and pollen filter at two years old.

I also have the 20” wheels and had to replace two damaged tyres which ended up being £270 per tyre.

Ah fair point - thanks, I'd forgotten the servicing was included.

Our car came with Continental PremiumContact 6 tyres on it. They'll be fine except possibly in the worst of winter, tempted to get a good set of all seasons, put them on and store the Contis until it's time to return the car and swap them back. That should come to a fair bit less than the maintenance plan.

Anyone else find certain interior trim parts seem to pick up marks really easily? Ours seems to attract white marks from hands etc. What's good for cleaning it safely?

Yeah, the armrest is a nightmare for those sort of marks. It all cleans pretty easily though. I use a microfibre pad and warm soapy water.
