I had a quick peek on the configurator. Folding mirrors aren’t standard. I thought that was cheap on a £30k Audi!

Porsche have been doing this for years and now JLR are doing the same too - try spec'ing a Range Rover and you will be surprised as what you need top pay for.

I am buying it as a company car due to 0% BIK from next year smile

Anybody got leasing prices on a C4S?

I think it may be comparable or better than a Model S

Yep, if they could fit a tape deck so they could then charge you to take it away for a Bluetooth connection, they would. Oh you’d have to upgrade through the CD player option first though.

Has anybody been provided with any insight from an OPC as to when we'll be able to place orders on the base spec model?

Also, do I need to be heading down to my local OPC to give them a deposit of some description?

For now the 4S is the base model. If you ordered now you are looking at a September 2020 delivery so I don't think they will be announcing the base model anytime too soon. Those who have ordered the Turbo S apparently do not even have a build date as yet.

Me too! Don't usually buy cars without driving it let alone seeing it in the flesh! The signs from the motoring press and those who have driven it is very positive though so looking forward to it.

Cheers for this. I may have to purchase a stop gap in the interim then as we’ve outgrown the I3 but can’t stretch to a 4S ... I think!

Lack of experience building EVs.

Its efficiency is in the same ballpark as the e-Tron’s - not surprising, really. Sort of sad, but not surprising.
