Appropriate power cable. Advice needed.

We're having a new garage built. The garage will be about 200 feet from the house and we plan to run power to it.

Although we don't own an EV at present, I'm sure that we will in the not too distant future. I would rather run the correct cable now, rather than dig up the garden at a later date.

What spec. cable will provide enough oomph for quick charge outlets?

3 core 6mm does the job for me

The charger needs 32A

Id go for 10mm for a 200 foot run.... rcd protection for the circuit and an earth rod in position form the charge point easier to get it in when your dong the install than wait till later.
