I-Pace owner experience?
Discussion
I've had an S since March (from the 'cheap' lease deal about a year ago) - about 4000 miles in. Mostly wife's car, but I've probably done half the mileage.
Loved it at first, wondered how I'd ever cope with something else once the lease ended. Everything good that I was used to with an EV, but with added 4WD, speed and a little more luxury.
Boot is decent, but I can get a lot more in a C-Class Estate due to the roof line.
8 months on and I'm still a fan. We've used it more than anticipated (because of the extra range vs a Leaf) and, aside from some minor, self-fixing, software glitches, nothing has gone wrong.
The range / efficiency is annoying though. The other night it was close to freezing outside and the screen was misted up. Took a while to clear and the guess-ometer showed a predicted range of 118 mies from the ~90% charge.
For the only long journey we tend to use it for (100 miles, mostly on 50,60, 70mph roads), we'll leave on a full battery and get there with 40% left - and that was in autumn weather and obeying heavily policed Welsh speed limits with limited use of AC to clear the screen.
Also find the seats quite uncomfortable on longer journeys.
Charging off a 3 pin (from our Welsh location without a proper charger) takes forever and a day. I feel like a 2 hour charge in a Leaf made a real difference to range (16ish miles added) In the Jag it barely registers. Sure our energy bills are higher (but still much less than fuel bills from an equivalent petrol car).
Overall a very good car. Would still recommend, but be careful that the realistic range would fit your requirements.

what’s the worst range at full charge anyone has had ? Mine is stuck at 201 ( but drops quicker than the actual miles done )
My wife’s i3 started at 150 miles when new 3 year ago but now shows 90 ... still the one before that , smaller capacity batteries dropped to 55 in the winter . Was never an issue thou as never went very far

I used to have a leaf and an i3 and both used to get sub 60 mile ranges in the winter. My wife’s i3 started at 150 miles when new 3 year ago but now shows 90 ... still the one before that , smaller capacity batteries dropped to 55 in the winter . Was never an issue thou as never went very far

I had a Leaf 24 and never got below 60 miles range, even in -2 in the winter. You could practice driving more efficiently to increase your usable range.
If you take your leaf and travel on the motorway at 70 mph in those temperatures, I guarantee you will have a range of less than 60 miles.Like most people, I have no desire to practice "hyper miling" or drafting behind HGVs.

I have a 24Kw leaf. The lowest I’ve seen is 57miles at -4 with a battery charged to 80%. Currently averaging 3.7 miles a kW

Hypermiling? You would have to be averaging about 2.7mi/kWh to get only 60 miles out of a Leaf 24. Maybe at 70 in sub-zero temperatures, rain, headlights on, AC on...Like most people, I have no desire to practice "hyper miling" or drafting behind HGVs.
In which case dropping to 65 MPH would probably be sensible anyway, and easily get you there.
I used to do a 62 mile trip uphill regularly and never had issues in poor conditions. Mostly used the cruse control too.

I tried to do a 35 mile trip (70 miles total) down the A14 once to see a client in my than sub 10k on the clock 24kWh Leaf.Temp was 5 degrees and than it started to rain. I ended up been OVERTAKEN by lorries in the wet on the A14 as the turtle sign loomed large, and had to turn around after just 25 miles getting home with '---' on the display.
But who knows maybe I was just using the car wrong, as clearly there are some EV owners on here who can hit rated range figures in all situations.

Wait... You got 50 miles out of your battery, so you were averaging about 2.1 miles/kWh?Temp was 5 degrees and than it started to rain. How do you even drive that inefficiently? I can't imagine it, I mean if you were being overtaken by lorries you couldn't have even been going very fast.
Maybe your Leaf was broken. Normal moderately efficient driving is about 4 miles/kWh, if you hammer it maybe down to 3.3 or 3.2 miles/kWh. To get 2.1... I think the NISMO version could get that low if you floored it constantly but they tuned it to accelerate harder than a normal Leaf.
