In with the new(er ) .
2 years after buying a 2007 4.3 v8 vantage , some very suspect man maths saw me trade it in for a 2012 v12v today .
I've enjoyed every mile in the v8 ( not that I did many ) but I was keen on more power or more specifically , torque and a better throttle response . I always struggled to heel and toe on the v8 , perhaps a light flywheel/ clutch package would have helped . A brief test drive a week ago sealed the deal and I must say the 50 mile drive home was a delight . With the temperature hovering near zero I was super cautious but even still managed to light the tyres up out of a roundabout at about 55 mph ...
This is very much a hotrod , the v8's big brother that's doubled up its gym time and perhaps is on the gear ...
Wow , just wow .

Hi ds666
Your new car looks superb. Welcome to the V12V club. You will smile every time you drive it. They really are special cars and are fantastic value at current prices. Whether we will still be able to drive them in a few years from now, who knows? Enjoy it while you can!
Best Regards

Lovely motor mate enjoy.
Looks like grill has been sprayed black? Looks mean. What seats have you got
Was the black grill an option ? Doesn’t seem painted , not sure Looks like grill has been sprayed black? Looks mean. What seats have you got
Seats are standard sports . I didn’t try the lightweight seats -they do look special - but standards seem fine 👍🏻
Congratulations DS.

Enjoy your car.
Congradulations on the new v12. Personally I think they look great in white. The motor is a masterpiece and the way it builds speed is just effortless. The v12's are a real performance bargain that is currently flying under the radar. I think with all the fast cars out there to choose from these things have fallen off of everyones radar, at least in the US. I am finding that I grab the keys to my v12vs more often than my other cars these days as the more I drive it, the more special it feels and the more I want to drive it. Maybe I am getting lazy but with the torque of this motor I dont have to shift much on the back roads that I drive and I can just throttle between 3rd and 4th with the occasional shift into 5th and have all the fun I can stand. I plan to keep mine for many years to come. I may add another car for variety, but the v12 is going to stay.
