Just ordered one of these as the new company car - AMG Line in brilliant blue! Trying to see if I can get the free charger out of the lease company as well! :-)
You'll not regret it - exact same spec as mine, delivered 30/11/20. No charging point though, I ordered that through Octopus in the end. BeeGT said:

Real world range in this weather? I am hearing these struggle to get past 160 miles on a full charge (100%) is that correct?
Thinking of buying one for the mrs via my company however I also bought a Taycan this year. In terms of write down allowance for corporation tax on an electric car anyone know if there are any advantages of buying a second car? WIll ask my accountant too but guys on here seemed pretty clued up on this stuff.

That sounds about right, 160 maybe 170 depending on the road type, most of my journeys are 20-30 miles each way plus the local running around so I've not put the EQC on a long range test yet. The CarWow test up the motorway from London saw the EQC run out of charge first @ circa 190 miles.Yes when the temperature was below 0 the range was around 150 miles in mine. When the temperatures were much warmer then 200+ was achievable especially when using the Auto regen feature. A lot depends on the type of driving you do though eg motorway vs urban, how heavy your right foot is, etc.
If the range is ok for you then it’s a great car, very very refined with a lovely interior, great MBUX tech and it’s pretty good looking (our kids love the light bar on the front and the interior at night). It doesn’t go round corners with any enthusiasm but I’d have got a Macan if that was a priority.

Hi
Could a current owner tell me if they come with a heated steering wheel? I can't see that it does have one or that one is part of the Premium or Premium Plus packages. A real shame that the options are so limited, I would really like memory seats but you have to spec the Premium Plus package for that which seems poor value considering the original purchase price.
cheers

Been told that mine is now due end of next month, so starting to think about planning routes for it.
What is the sat-nav like at picking up charging points? Typically my routes will be along the M4 & M5/M6 so not expecting it to be too hard to find somewhere...
Would be keen to this know also. What is the sat-nav like at picking up charging points? Typically my routes will be along the M4 & M5/M6 so not expecting it to be too hard to find somewhere...
BTW When did you order yours Jim? I ordered in Jan but lead time has slipped to late July. By the time I get it the technology will be outdated!

I ordered mine at the end of January, it was showing as June but apparently has come forward. Perhaps there was a dropped order that matched mine...

We have a premium plus and no heated steering wheel. Don’t miss it though with pre heating.
Miss the pre heating when we use one of the other cars though...
Heated steering wheels are lovely and use much less energy than pre-heating or journey temp heating. Shocking Mercedes haven't included this on their top spec model.Miss the pre heating when we use one of the other cars though...
Last weekend I test drove the ipace, EQC & Etron b2b
Narrowed it down to the EQC and the Etron with the help of my wife, I've recently managed to get my company to implement an EV Salary Sacrifice scheme and the EQC is £607/m for a Premium Plus in brilliant blue, over 36m/10kpa fully maintained/insured etc. so I am going for one of these, really enjoyed the drive (the Etron was just as good) but they are quite a bit more expensive so the EQC it is

Nice one Andy, hope you haven't got too long a wait for it to be built. Working from home means I've only done 2000 miles in mine since it was delivered last August! It's more like an expensive drive ornament at the moment....Narrowed it down to the EQC and the Etron with the help of my wife, I've recently managed to get my company to implement an EV Salary Sacrifice scheme and the EQC is £607/m for a Premium Plus in brilliant blue, over 36m/10kpa fully maintained/insured etc. so I am going for one of these, really enjoyed the drive (the Etron was just as good) but they are quite a bit more expensive so the EQC it is
Mine, AMG Line, arrived on Tuesday and so far it's been a case of getting used to the change from the BMW system to the MBUX - have to say it seems less intuitive, but that's after 3 years of daily use of the BMW system.
Car has plenty of space for the three kids across the back, they say it's less cramped than the 535e, and thats with a high back booster, low back booster and one in the middle. The standard kit is plenty, haven't came across anything that I think it could really do with as it better kitted out than the 535e SE I had. The standard stereo is perfectly good for listening to the radio (Absolute radio for me, Heart for the wife).
There is also plenty of space under the boot cover to put the type 2 cable, first aid kit and various other bits as well so the boot stays clutter free. The little folding tray is a nice touch to.
Not used the sat nav yet, but played with using the voice for radio stations and setting sat nav and it works even with my Bristolian farmer accent. Range is ok it seems. Not really made a not of things but seem to have got about 80 miles from 1/3 charge and charged completely via the 3 pin plug over night (ohme goes in next week).
Only dowside so far is the using the max regen mode (D--) make it's quite a jerky ride as the re-gen is like stepping on the brakes, the D- mode seems about the best comfort/efficency compromise for me. Tried the mode with no re-gen at all and is was really odd just having the car roll along with no engine braking at all.
Last comment is that the speed is quite surprising, not as mental as Tesla M3 performance, but more than enough to give the kids a big grin!
I do have one question though - is the light bar on the front supposed to be on in the day? It doesn't appear to be on in mine. Also, should there be an a cover for the electrics under the bonnet? Mine has no cover...
