Are you sure you have a 40kwh pack?
No but aren't these cars only 40 or 60?

Yes, facelift cars are 40 or 62kWh.

Also just echoing others than the range/efficiency isn't good as I'd hoped. Obviously its winter by the i3 120Ah I had previously (with a slightly bigger battery granted) was noticeably more efficient.

£270 a month overall for a 38kwh Ioniq is very good. I can't see it anywhere for <£300 now.
Bargain offer £335 overall here

Tell the leaser you have a car with the 30kwh battery fitted by mistake?
Show that dash image to prove it.

Had a yellow system fault flash up & stay on the dash this afternoon, just after being splashed by a huge wave of water from a truck coming in the opposite direction.

A bit of googling suggests possibly a faulty radar sensor on the front, likely due to water ingress. Fingers crossed it's just a one off caused by the direction of the water coming across & it'll dry out, but I'm not hopeful.

Picked my Leaf Tekna up from Peterborough today and drove it back to Wakefield (West Yorkshire). Car managed about 130 miles with 4% battery left. I can live with that, I don’t often do trip over 50 miles.

Hit 1000 miles the other day.
Averaged 3.5 but lately I've been averaging 3.7.

Not that I'd ever do this but you should see the difference on range by turning the heater completely off.
All my driving is now always in B mode with e pedal when in traffic which is massively better than any other modes together.

How do I actually get it to 'B', it says D/B when I switch it to Drive

Select drive twice basically. Go into to drive, do it again and it changes to b mode.
Best setting by far for overall use.

The amount of friction the e pedal causes is crazy. Drive the car with the epedal on at say 40mph, keep your foot in the same position and turn it off, the difference is ridiculous.

Thanks, worked it out myself this morning, does seem to make a difference but most days my commute is only 66 miles each way and I have free charging at work so I can splash out on the power a bit!

There's no friction, it just changes the map of the pedal - it has to shift the neutral (i.e. the point between accel and decel) point down so that you have controllability of the additional deceleration.

Ah OK. Well whatever it is, it's a massive difference.

A set of wheel trims and a plastic spoiler isn't it?

Doubtful

The principle is right, but the execution looks a bit shonky.

I just had my Pod Point charger installed but the guy that came out to change my meter to a smart meter refused to change my electric meter as he said it wasn't safe and I needed UK networks to come out and make it safe.

I guess my other option is to switch to a slightly cheaper electric deal as Octopus has no exit fees for the deal I am on.

So instead of £2 to charge, I am currently looking at £6 (maybe £4 a day as I usually have 40% left when I get home).

Anyone advise on an off peak tariff that doesn't require a smart meter install?

Without a smart meter, how would they know which electricity you're using on-peak and which off-?
