Hi all, so I’m going to cancel my Leon Cupar and go for the Leaf instead! I’ve decided the Tekna is the spec for me and can see that Willow are doing it at £309 on a 1+23 for 10k in white. Is this the cheapest for a white one or is going direct to Peterborough cheaper? Thanks
Peterborough is cheaper. I’m paying £309 for 12k. But you will need to collect from Peterborough saaby93 said:

I got this from James last night..
I have chased the cars this afternoon now they have registered them all I should be in a position to have registration number confirmed and also next stage to offer a delivery date and get docs to you in the next 48 hours.
Nice one. That’s great thank you. Saves me pestering him even more than I have. Hopefully should see them in the next couple of weeks then. I've ended up ordering a Podpoint 7Kw tethered for £359 .
I got a quote for a Rolec charger but it was quite a lot more due to needing an Earth Rod.
I'm looking to move home within a year and might see if I can move to one of the V2G contracts when I do , so I don't have to pay for the moving of the charge point.

Is someone able to help me regarding energy companies? I have ordered a Leaf Tekna and want to get the charger/provider sorted ASAP.
Now I’m in a bit of a strange position - I have been unable to find out who my gas provider is. I moved in to my current provider in December 2017 and changed energy providers. The electricity went through fine, however the gas didn’t go through. When I spoke to the company, they told me to speak to the previous provider. I spoke to who I was told was the previous provider with no luck, they couldn’t find the house on their systems. Back to the new provider, they too couldn’t find our property on any systems. They advised me to contact the National Grid, but I never did. So, I’ve never had a gas bill!
I currently pay about £30pm for electrify, but now I am getting quotes from the likes of OVO and Octopus for £100pm?!? I don’t want to have to pay over the odds to charge the Leaf, any suggestions?

Rscut - you can swap just your electricity supply over to anyone you want & leave the gas as it is (although in your position I'd be stting myself about a massive bill down the line from some gas provider!).
Octopus go would be fine if you can take advantage of overnight cheap tariff, if you can't for whatever reason just chuck your estimated usage (including EV charging) into one of the comparison sites and pick the cheapest
