Heres my EV6 GTline Dual motor. Very pleased with it, I test drove a GTline S & found that the 20 inch wheels made the ride a bit too jittery for my liking so went for the 19inch on the GTline. Only complaint is the GT line doesnt get the auto presenting door handles which sometimes makes opening the doors a bit of a faff. I was initially worried about my choice of the Steel Matt Grey paint. However i coated initially with Dr Beasley's Matt protector & it still comes up as showroom finish after hand washing. I will re-apply next week after 6 months & 5000 miles of driving. Driving sedately in eco mode i get around 290 mile range. ( Kia states 314) Going for it in sport mode it drops to 230 ish. So far so good.

Well done on getting the matt grey, they've stopped offering that colour as it was apparently taking them too long to paint so you've got yourself a rare car! I've switched my order to the pearl black instead. Your car looks awesome. Are you temped to pdf it with a matt film to protect it?

Yes it’s the Seat Mo. I’ve had it a month and it’s been great fun so far. Unlike the old petrol 125’s I used to ride as a lad that you had to ring the neck out of to get anywhere. The torque of the electric motor really does get you away quickly and effortlessly.

I charge it at work a couple of times a week so no fuel costs (to me), so other than a new lid and some riding clothes etc it’s about as cheap as you can get other than my pushbike.

And I couldn’t see it was a car only thread in the thread list, so sorry that it’s only got two wheels! Happy to move if it’s offending anyone (if there is a 2 wheeled thread for EV’s?)

When I said Readers car thread, I ment start a thread in that section to share your ownership experience, as it will be interesting to know.. ie how does it charge? Three pin plug or type 2?

Ah got you now!

Yes I’ll pop something up about it. Three pin just to answer, it’s a 50v DC battery, 6-7 hours to fully charge but I only use about 30% each way on my commute.

It’s made under license by another Spanish company called Silence, you can effectively buy the same bike but with Silence branding in the UK for the same money. They’ve been about for around 10 years and specialise in electric scooters for short range urban commutes/deliveries etc

Cool, what's the reason for the change? Any difference?

Car renewal time.

Its a Black Edition and not HSE so in terms of spec is quite a spec drop (couldnt order HSE due to chip shortages), still 400bhp

Its got Air suspension and the performance seats i could add but lost alot... Matrix lights, 360 camera, HUD, cooled seats, lower touchscreen, not even a decklid spoiler and all the previous Windsor leather is now leathette or 'DuoLeather' including the wheel which I'm amazed how much difference that has made to the overall feel of the cabin space.

No way to keep the HSE?
I'm up for renewal next year but I think I'm just going to hold on because of the lack of a proper upgrade.
