The Kona is a good looking car on the outside. I like the headlights. The interior though... What you want is the Kona exterior and the Niro interior.

Ha!
Actually, I don't like the eNiro interior. Each to their own - the eNiro is a bit....bland to me. Although I like their flippy cup holder thing, & they do get some more leg room in the back which would be handy on occasion ;-)

The 'weird' two-tiered Kona console we have works pretty well for us. Yes, it isn't up to a real luxury motor in quality terms , but everything works well - the heated (& cooled!) seats, the heated steering wheel, the HUD unit.
Almost 10k miles in and Mrs MikeIOW still LOVES it (it is her main motor, although we both tend to use it now it is super cheap on the 'fuel'!)
& yes, the exterior still looks pretty cool to me!

It’s not an EV just, but we have bought the car and the even more expensive battery, for this mini moke conversion...I will start a thread for the build, but will be 120hp, 176fp of torque and 33.6 kWh of Tesla battery power

Step son stole it at 14 years old, reversed into a lamp post - police reckon at least 30mph to do the damage as the boot was caved in to the back seats...!

He was arrested and charged, but in typical fashion these days he got a slap on the wrist... 12 month youth offending order. I got left with the outstanding finance (£14k, only 6 months left to pay, and it happened coming up 3 years ago!)
He didn't even turn up for the weekly sessions
He lived with us around another 3/4 months but was smashing our house up and hit his Mum (my wife), eventually police removed him from the property as he was a danger to us (believe me, I would have happily kicked the shhhh out of him, but he was 14 at the time and then I would have been the criminal).
He's now 17, been inside for around 6 months for vehicle theft, drug dealing, etc.

Quite a few people are quick to pipe up with 'blame the parents', but he was given everything he needed, including rules/routine/etc. and he always ignored or outright rejected them. He is just a wrong un, and there's nothing anyone seems to be able to do to get through to him.
He lived with an all knowing Aunt (she blamed us, he lasted two weeks with her then they took him to the police station, he other half is a 6'3 copper).
He then went to his Dads who he never, ever got away with any shhhh with. He last around a month, his Dad knocked him clean out when he found out he had been stealing from him and the two young kids he has at home.
Last place he went before going inside was into social care, he stayed with a guy who was fostering/etc. and ended up stealing his car too, the guy only found out because the tool got a parking ticket when the fosterer was at work...

He's currently out on license, but has been seen handling stolen motorbikes and dealing again (in our local area). Pretty certain the plod are waiting til his 18th (June) and then they'll put some big boy cuffs on him.

That is some lovely metal!

Mine, last year, back when I still did about 3000-4000 km/month. Has done about 500km in the past 8 weeks.

Finally got my LEAF on Thursday. Only been round the block so far with it. For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to px a bmw 550i estate for it.

Previously had an i3

Change is inevitable, mate. Stop living with your back to the future. The only way to cope with it is to embrace it.
