I think it will be like the max power days. Air ride, ice installs, body kits and wheels.

Electric cars will become obsolete so quickly modifying them for performance will be pointless.

Ice hasn't really evolved much in the past 20 odd years as it is already a technology that has been around for so long but I can see electric changing a lot. A model 3 of today will be old news shopping trolley in 10 years.

The big opportunity will be in converting ICE cars to electric power I suspect.

A few businesses are already doing some amazing conversions. As and when people have expensive engine issues in their otherwise healthy car, this may become an option people will look at. Costs and the supply of parts needed will improve as numbers of EVs increase.

Its slow and time consuming to convert an existing car though.

For some esp older cars drop in kits are around (for vw beetle etc) but if you pick a random car theres a lot of custom work to be done, and the more modern it is the harder it is.
