I'm in but there's really not much to them underneath !

No more or less to it than similar vehicles. The Aixam currently cluttering my unit is very similar looking underneath.
Hey toaster does the chassis rot easy on quads then?

put my name down but not got the email yet. it’s ideal central london car for, popping to the shops, to the park, to waitrose, to my sisters, to the velodrome etc etc. usually average about 5-7 miles an hour so this seems fine.

,
Much the same for me.

Sort of somewhere north of pukka weather protected 2 seater electric bike but not quite ev.

Just what I’ve been looking for.

I put my name on the list today (confirmation email went in my junk mail), having seen my reservation number (153,000) I do wish I had done it sooner!

I always wanted a twizzy but it didn't make sense at the price point and without being properly waterproof so really looking forward to the Ami.

I thought the same about the number, but assume it's an order number for the whole company or something as I highly doubt that many people have paid! I think they had 12,000 enquiries originally..

My number is 151xxx and I placed my reservation at 09:10 on the first day, so I suspect it started at 151000.

The Aixam I have is a bit of a rot box, it’s probably worth investing in some rustproofing if you were keeping it a while

90000 EVs sold in the uk so far this year across all manufacturers ;I doubt Citroen have more than a few low thousands of AMI orders.

Hi there,

Apparently 1130 reservations taken so far here in the UK. I guess order numbers have no significance to where you are in the queue.

Tbh I’m quite surprised they’ve managed that with how little information they’ve given so far on price etc.

Any idea on the best way to fit and power a front & rear dash cam to the AMI? Still believe a dash cam would prove useful for me.

Also any idea about parking mode use? The dash cam has to be connected to a power source.

I can't envisage anyone taking an Ami on a joy ride - but I have seen stranger things happen

Same way you would in any other car surely, it’ll have a 12v system you can connect to?

Citroen Ami Buggy concept.

https://www.engadget.com/citroen-has-transformed-i...

No difference in the motor or battery, just the wheels and tyres, light bars, mini doors etc. Looks like a giggle though.

Update:

We had an amazing response and this has meant that we are able to bring Ami to the UK.

We had hoped that we would have all the information by now, but launching a quadricycle in the UK, rather than our normal cars or vans, is proving more challenging than we originally anticipated. However, I’m pleased to report that we are making significant progress and I can now start to share a clearer timing plan and other important information .

PRICING
We're very close to being able to share the final prices and will do as soon as we possibly can.

SPECIFICATION
We can confirm the following extras will be available in the UK:

4 colour packs (self-fit)
Orange
Khaki
Grey
Blue
BLUE COLOUR PACK

2 Special Editions (factory-fit)
Pop
Vibe
SPECIAL EDITIONS

Each Ami will be delivered with a standard European two-pin plug and a type 2 adaptor enabling it to be charged at all UK public charging points. Please note: electric vehicles sold in the United Kingdom are required to have the ability to charge via a type 2 charging cable, and our approved Type 2 charger is only compatible with a European two-pin plug.

TEST DRIVES
We will be welcoming a number of Amis into the UK in June and these will be available to test drive from selected retailers across the country.

ORDERING
We will be officially opening Ami for orders in June but contacting anyone who has already reserved an Ami in May to discuss their specific requirements and suitability for Ami to prioritise their orders.

FINANCE OPTIONS
We can confirm that from launch, retail customers will have the choice of Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or cash. For business customers it will be cash only from launch.

We continue to investigate other finance options for both retail and business customers.

DELIVERIES
We are working with our production plant to maximise the number of Amis we can order for the UK audience based on the fantastic number of reservations we have taken so far. We hope to be able to start delivering Ami's to customers from July onwards.

DRIVING LICENCE CLARIFICATION
A category AM driving licence is required in order to operate an Ami (a provisional license is not sufficient). The categories are denoted on the back of your driving licence.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
You may have seen the exciting Ami Buggy concept. We’re waiting to see whether this will be coming to the UK as well as Ami and Ami Cargo, so keep an eye out for more news as we have it.

I'm quite taken with this and it would be ok on my London commute, especially as most of the way is a 20mph limit.

It'll stop my reckless overtakes.

It'll enfuriate everyone on the 40mph average dual carriageway though. Unless everyone gets one.

I read recently that you can't drive one on a car licence.

Anyone with a full car licence will have the required AM category to drive one of these.

Interestingly though, looking at my licence online, do I need to do a CBT on a moped to drive one??

Am I reading this right? No UK 3-pin plugs for home charging? So you'll have to have either a tethered or untherered Type 2 charger at home?
