Thats what i'm thinking of at the minute, granted its a £2300 deposit but might be better than buying it out right The APR was something like 6.9% though

Despite having the first confirmed order off the back of a reservation I’ve held for ages, I’d never seen let alone driven one.

That changed today.

Even if you’re not convinced, book a test drive once you can in a few weeks. They’re HILARIOUS. I can’t wait until mine is here.

I’ve still got my reservation in but done no more than that, I was tempted to go down the pcp route if I went ahead.

Is it worth it ?

It’s the most fun I think I’ve ever had on 4 wheels. Obviously you need to be able to live with its many limitations though.

I’d use it for work which is 5 mikes per day and 30mph speed limit so that should cover its biggest disadvantage, it’s a town centre car for me.

Purity. You can really have fun in these at ridiculously low speeds, which we've lost on most real cars for decades. Of course it's no 911, but I'd argue there is no public road you can enjoy a modern 911 on.

But equally there are a lot of roads where 28mph won’t cut the mustard either.

If you don’t get it you don’t get it and that’s fine but try driving one before knocking it

Not for all of the traffic behind waiting 10 seconds for you to get to that speed it doesn't. smile

Looking forward to seeing those of you with one on order get on. I would have been joining you, but I have 2 children to get to school, otherwise it would be perfect for 95% of my journeys. I'm also not massively enamoured with having to put £2400 down initially either, I'd much sooner pay £80 a month than raid my savings for a big deposit.

I have a feeling these will hold their money though, like anything suitable for first timers and young folks... Japanese 25cc bikes anyone?

It’s a PCP, you can put £0 down if you want

Doesn’t help having to have a child run alongside you though biggrin

Apologies, I thought that was a 48 month lease.

Good point. Still, could be good motivation for them? Tidiest room gets to sit inside the car going to school hehe

These popped up on my youtube and I am amazed at how relatively cheap and cheerful they are. I bet Citroen will sell a shed load.

The one big advantage is that in France these be driven by 14 year olds, no chance of that happen in stuffy England.

I notice their website says their's no isofix mounts and they do not recommend otherwise fitting a child seat...

(I'm also noticing that you have to get one of the £1k uplifted models to get such luxuries as hub caps and a phone holder!)

((But I do rather like the cargo version...))
