You pays your money, you makes your choices wink
And that’s my dilemma. I quite like the id3 but the Tesla is only £5K more and feels (to me) to be a more interesting (if quirky) car.
Alternatively; you're probably paying too much for your ID.3 wink - There's plenty of deals around, including from VW themselves.
That is a possibility. I am looking at a mid trim level but adding alloys and a paid colour.
The discounts from VW are very strong at the minute, a family pro performance is significantly cheaper than a Model 3 SR

After 5 months of reasonably happy motoring I finally booked our ID3 into the local VW dealer for the software to be updated to the much talked about V2.0. They assured me that they had done a few and it takes about 12 hours to download and then check and verify. All good thinks I. Bloody hell think again. It’s been in there for 2 weeks now every time they try the download it crashes half way through. They have tried to restore the old version and cannot do it, the car is to quote the dealer now dangerously undriveable eek
The dealer claims to have 4 or 5 other cars in exactly the same state and are placing the blame firmly on VW. Apparently they are now waiting for a fix from VW.

Anybody else having trouble or is it only me?

How long is it reasonable to wait for VW to come up with a fix?

Not impressed.

I thought they’d be putting 2.1 on, looks like 2.3 is on the way!
