They have fixed this anomaly since for EV's over £40k so maybe it was the government policy that was wrong rather than the car? Can't get the staff ehh?

An i3 with range extender is a hybrid, not an EV, so the additional tax would still apply today for new cars

If you buy a car based on the taxes and VED you have to pay, I guess so. But does anyone do that?

This is to be expected as EVs take over and we run out of dinosaur juice, hell during the lock down some fool even wanted to tax pedal bikes!
