Trying to compare MPG of PHEVs is pointless as they'll all be used in different circumstances. A PHEV could do unlimited mpg if it's used mainly on short sub 20 mile journeys and charged in between. Then factor in cost of charging, that varies too.

Calculating pence per mile, adding cost of fuel and electric together, is a good start to compare with an ICE equivalent.
