The issue with comparing Vorsprung models is they are very differently equipped. The Etron gets carbon everywhere, including brakes and roof, and massage seats etc. Base models far closer in spec and price.
Will be interesting to see finance costs as the base RS7 is already more expensive to lease than the Taycan Turbo despite a significantly lower list price. (£96k v £116k) and can only imagine the RS ETron will undercut both. I expect very few people are paying cash for these things?
They chose to call those equipment levels the same trim name. Annoyingly, I would not buy another 100k+ car without 'luxury features' e.g. massage seats and acoustic glazing, if they are optionable - it seems like they only are on the vorsprung.
However, then you lose all of the seat and trim options - as I would pick the tan and walnut from the boggo RS, and whilst I would want some carbon, I wouldn't want the blacked out Audi rings. None of the trim levels work for me.
The Taycan is far more customisable, but, as ever with Porsche, a Turbo with the right options (for me) comes out about 140k and even then you need to remember to pay £230 for folding wing mirrors. That monthly will increase pretty quickly once you delve into the list.

Looks and interior entirely subjective of course but more space? I thought they were essentially identical once you get past the styling?
I you really want more space/practicality might be worth waiting for the Taycan SportTurismo?
No, I just like the Audi more, and will get far more pleasure from having it sitting in my garage.I you really want more space/practicality might be worth waiting for the Taycan SportTurismo?

I can’t see what the Taycan offers me that could overcome how much more the Audi just looks “right” to me.
Of course, as you say, it’s subjective, but I’ve always had a thing for RS models in a way that I never have for Porsche.

Totally get what you are saying and you'll certainly get a better equipped car for your money as well as one you prefer the styling of.I can’t see what the Taycan offers me that could overcome how much more the Audi just looks “right” to me.

I'm the other way and don't really get the Audi thing having had a few over the years as company cars. Going to cost to go the Taycan route though as mentioned, will have to have a play with both configurators at some point and see just how much as may change my mind.

I had a Taycan Turbo S ordered from quite early, but the end product just didn’t quite hit the spot.I'm the other way and don't really get the Audi thing having had a few over the years as company cars. I’ll probably have a try of the Sport Turismo, just to be sure.

I'm looking at the 4S, struggle with the huge price increase to the Turbo and Turbo S when many of the options they add wouldn't be on my list anyway + the performance would be more than enough for daily.I’ll probably have a try of the Sport Turismo, just to be sure.
Intrigued now as to the real price difference between the E-Tron GT and Taycan with the same spec so will have a play this afternoon.
I'm very interested in one of these, I've been looking to move to a Taycan for a month or so now after getting fed up with the build quality of my 1994 vauxhall cavalier TMS performance I have through my business, the Audi just sits better with me than the Porsche.
Started talking to a dealer last week, but as you'd expect he's still finding his feat on the model.
I'm sure I'll be happy with the standard GT, 0-60 in 2.3 seconds in the TMS is unbelievable but I must be getting old because I think anything under 5 seconds on today's roads is way more than sufficient.
If anyone else is in the market and is offered discounts etc I'd be grateful to hear about it.
