Used from a private seller.

But in the end I didn’t buy it, he agreed the sale shook hands on it. Then reneged, and sold to a dealer who asked me for another £4K. I told him to f off and bought an Alfa instead.
That's a shame! Don't blame you though!
Yes I was looking forward to it, but it was always a toss up between the Ioniq5 and the Alfa

I had an Ioniq 5 for a test drive today. My initial impression while pottering about the city in it was 'Meh' but after a longer run it started to grow on me. To the point that I really didn't want to get back into my regular ICE car after handing it back.

Long story short, it's brilliant and I've ordered one. Should arrive March next year.

I've had mine 12 months now.
Not a great deal of driving but I've enjoyed the ca., 6k miles I've done in it.
Had a few longer 200 + round trips but only 300 + miles where I needed to charge on the way home.

I really like the flexibility of the interior.

Absolutely no regrets buying this EV.

Really tempted by one of these as it reminds me of delorean with its exterior styling! Always bought German cars so this would be a big step. See some early owners are happy? Trying to get a test drive for it before commit to ordering via Lease online. Is it a big car in person?

It is quite big. IIRC wheel base is similar to Audi A8

But the wheels are right out at the corners. There are a few websites that will do footprint comparisons. I suggest using them; I've had a few surprises over the last few months as I try and narrow-down new car choices!

Here's one, it's smaller than an X3, you can change to other cars in the comparison. https://www.carsized.com/en/cars/compare/hyundai-i...

Thank you for the that. Will get a test drive in and that interesting size comparison and here was me thinking it would be like a Golf. The turning circle on that will be interesting!

If you watch some reviews the turning circle is reported to be pretty good.

Love it and the bigger size if nice to see as it will be the main family car to replace a Disco Sport! Is that the cyber grey in that photo? The shooting star matte grey also looks amazing

I've ordered an Ioniq 5: 78kwh Ultimate in matte gold. Broker says delivery beginning of Jan 2023 - I am sceptical!

The colour wasn't my choice - personally I would have gone for the free Blue.

That is awesome mate - which broker did you use and was price? Probably for the lease deals thread! If you don't mine PM me I like that Jan delivery date!

Sorry, I already posted on the lease deals thread. I think the deal expired...

Gravity Gold? That's what I ordered too. Very little gold about it really and the brush aluminium effect matt finish is ace. Mine should be ready for March/April but we'll see.

Whoever designed the Ioniq 5 must of taken inspiration from the old British Leyland days - there is a canny resemblance to some parts of the Allegro / Maestro / Princess?? theres a point vinyl roof is what it needs with a webasto sunroof.

Friends had his Project 45 for a while now seems pleased with it but wasn't impressed when we all went away together and he had to stop to charge whilst we carried on and arrived hour earlier than they did !. Rear screen doesn't have a wiper on it ?
