New Hyundai Ioniq 5
Discussion
I took an "available now" 168kW RWD GV60 over a "forever being delayed" AWD EV6.
Whilst I am happy with the performance of 168kW for a daily (it *feels* a lot more than 225bhp due to instant shove), I'm not sure I would want to go much lower.
Regarding battery \ range - that depends very much on use. Do you have charging at home and can commute (round trip) within 50% of the smaller battery, so you always have plenty in reserve? Do you have any regular long trips where you will need to charge to reach your destination?

Great news mate fingers crossed its here soon! I do like GV60 but its a lot pricier
My RWD GV60 had most boxes ticked (boat due 13th of November) and was about 5K more total than the comparable I5, however that is mitigated partly by the 5 years free servicing and 5 years free Shell/Ionity discount scheme (plus 5 years free road assistance), this is aside from the difference in quality of the interior (part of the selling point to me, though the nappa leather and upgraded seats did add close to £6k to the base price)I’ve got one for the weekend. Pretty cool, I’m growing to like the infotainment but the ride is pretty poor as it bobs down the road and very coarse on roads. Dark cabin but the interior light is like a sun. Boot is pretty small too aswell, nov sure what the press and hold for the tailgate to open and close but summon is ace.

Looks amazing - cancelled my order today as Tusker said it could be OVER 12 months. Plan is now to keep an eye out for Q1 with potential stock deals or cancellation. Relying on pending recession to get over this supply hump just a complete joke!
Sorry to hear that. However, i don't think i could wait that long either!Gassing Station | EV and Alternative Fuels | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
