Bjorn Nylands got one currently so expect it in the next few days.

It’ll be very close to the ID4 and Enyaq seeing as it’s the same car underneath.

Isn't the Q4 etron one of the slowest accelerating EVs on the planet (9 seconds to 60), which kind of removes the fun aspect of having an ev in the first place...

Have a test drive in a 40 this Saturday.
Not overly concerned about the 0-60 time but 9secs is surprising.
Saw one in the road and it is a fine looking car for family duties.

How do they make it so slow?

It is for the 35 spec car which has ~160bhp in a 2 ton car. However for the MEB cars that have been reviewed most seem to be quicker than the spec says and they still have the EV 0-20 advantage.

The twin motor 50 spec is more like 6 seconds.

Not sure the premium is worth it over an Enyaq for me and that’s coming from an avid Audi fan.

the '50' which is the one i'd get is about 6 seconds, i'd bet its quicker. However i'm not bothered, 6 is plenty enough.

How do these compare to the Polestar 2 price-wise?

surely it is not so much different to A3 vs Scala or Q3 vs Kodiaq?

On paper the Audi looks to be marginally more efficient (at least for the 4wd version) but I am not sure why (285 miles for Enyaq 80x vs 306 miles for q4 50)
a few of the review have mentioned that Audi have more freedom on interior and controls so the infotainment system does not seem to have the VW base system bugs and there are real buttons for HVAC controls etc.

I think in the end it will depend on discounts, when we bought my wife's A3 the Audi discount was much higher than VW/Skoda and the extra cost in the end was not so much, and the interior is really a nice place to be. hopefully it will be more clear by the end of the year once all the models are available.

It is but it's pretty exciting if you've ever been in an ID3. That's exactly like a fridge with wheels.

For me, that's true of every Audi which is based on a platform shared with the "lesser" brands of VAG. I'd pay something to get the Audi's physical climate control buttons though. smile

Anyone know what type of PCP deals are available for this in terms of %APR, and should you be expecting a discount, given it's a new model and probably in demand?

The 35s are cheaper - but I don't think that you want them.
The 40 Edition 1 is marginally more expensive, but the one that people want, the 50 is clearly more.

Looking at the monthlies, the 35 is on par with the Polestar 2 give or take a few £, but the 40Ed1 is about £40/m more (when I was doing a comparison).

It'd be a company lease car so it'll depend on what deal etc.

I've asked for a few guide quotes.

Polestar 2 with heatpump and dual motor or something like this in 50 spec?
