Out of curiosity, what part of the country is that?

I used the 'superfast' 250kW S/C at Banbury last week (first ever long journey in my M3!)
and I amazed that I was the only car there, perhaps because it is off the motorway and/or
too close to Warwick services?

I live 4 miles from the Banbury S/C and agree, it's an odd place to put the site, especially as there are numerous places nearer the M40 that are more suitable.

I had to wait 5 minutes to use the southbound S/C @ Keele service a few weeks ago during the Half term getaway there are only 4 though, also the S/C @ Tebay was very busy with a couple of queueing cars, the wait was probably 5 mins.
haha yeah. I often drive past it and see it completely empty, bonkers place to site so many

Going to try our second experience today - Off to Morrisons and now a new app GeniePoint.

But also I have added Octopus Juice as we are an Octopus customer

Locally we have either BP Pulse (Chargemaster) or GeniePoint only.

A few cards now on order as I still feel the apps add another layer of possible challenge. Having said all of that, she loves the car just not the charging so far. Roll on the wall box

Non EV owner.

I see on street charging points which means free parking here in SW London.

So someone nabs the space for the day and then that charger is out of use for everyone else.

I can see that already becoming a problem with the amount of plug in hybrids I see knocking about.
You either have limited parking times there, as you do with many other general parking spaces and/or you'd have a big uplift in charging costs once you stayed past, say 3hrs.

Use the Octopus Juice card to link to an account on Geniepoint and its RFID system rather than paying for their own specific card.

Makes starting a Geniepoint much easier.

Will be using the Octopus Juice card once it arrives - but to be fair to GeniePoint the app worked really well.
Used the DC charging and it was great - not cheap but really easy. This is how it should be.
