Yes, but I bet there were multiple alternative pumps available to facilitate a fill. Sweet Faraday All available at the charging point.

After going to Goodwood this weekend I was pretty blown away by the electric car offerings. They need to work on the sound a bit more to create that feeling you get from an ICE car but it was great to see all those cars going around.

That's it, you have convinced me of the folly of electric vehicles.

The charging points might be out of order and there are only those two for the whole country, madness !

Seriously, how many more of these threads do we need, all started by idiots with an agenda and a scant few braincells.......

EVs will not work for me as I commute 400 miles each day with no charging or electricity at home or work. I stop for four minutes to have a wee. I also tow a large boat.

Last account probably got deleted for trolling footballers.

Ironically the picture was of new charge points about to be commissioned, so rather than highlight these things not working, it really highlights the investment and expansion going on.

Assume that's one of the new charging stations they're in the process of installing and haven't actually activated yet.

Dropped into Fleet services westbound today in my Range Rover as my wife wouldn't entertain a 100 mile and back journey in my Leaf. 2 old Ecotricity units free of cars I noted. But the Tesla stalls, of which there are about 12, had only one which was working the rest had covers on them!

Not commissioned yet.

2 x Taycans
2 x TM3
1 x leaf
1 x Kona
1 x zoe

anyone who says "EVs won't catch on" had better get used to things eh! :-)

I was just thinking its nice to see new rapids been built. My EVs are currently charging at home (mopping up excessive solar) on far less complex/advanced hardware.

The fact EVs of all kinds are so easy to refuel using ancient looking fuel sources is pretty amazing compared to petroleum.
