Mercedes EV Charging

We will shortly be getting a Mercedes full electric vehicle (new) company car.

We’ve had a hybrid for a number of years and can home charge so have never bothered with the public charging infrastructure.

So, what’s the situation and how does it work for a Mercedes?
Do they have their own infrastructure? Do they have a tie up with a particular provider? Do we need an App and an account or is it all built into the car?

Educate me please!

You'll get a Mercedes Me card with the car which you can use to access BP & Ionity at decent rates.

Other than that you'll need to sign up for Genie Point, Instavolt, Shell etc. yourself.
