So, I managed to test the Ionic 5 the other day and found it a very nice car. The car's biggest appeal has to be its space in the cabin.
For a family, this car would be great, plenty of room in the back and boot, lots of safety features and speed a plenty if you need it.
That said, with all its features it felt a little like I was driving an Xbox sim.
Call me a traditionist but it wouldn't be my first choice (but not far off).
I want a Touareg R but I’m not waiting a year - this is a stop gap but it might grow. For a family, this car would be great, plenty of room in the back and boot, lots of safety features and speed a plenty if you need it.

We have the normal ioniq electric it’s flat out brilliant as a daily driver - just love it.

I know I’m chatting to myself here but at least it’s a record of a weird exp I can look back on.
So “most” of the Project 45’s have arrived, news to me but that’s what they say.
Ok - has mine arrived? None allocated until they are all here so I’ve got to wait for the nameless Korean floating car park to dock at Tilbury and unload a few more gravity gold P45’s before I can get mine and suffer buyers remorse on the way home (I’m suffering already and I’ve not bought it yet) .
It’ll be great my inner self tells my other inner self / hmmm - will it ?
I'm another watching with interest. Problem is i really need to drive one and properly try the seats before considering trying to sell both my zoe50 and my Lexus and trying to get hold of one.So “most” of the Project 45’s have arrived, news to me but that’s what they say.

Evening, Can you elaborate a bit on the unsold cars, i am in the market for one if they are available?
If you want a ionic5 standard none P45 just pop along to your dealer. If you want a P45 email vip@hyundai.co.Uk who will wait list you for 10 seconds before allocating you one.
Laura in the vip team will ask for £1k directly then your car will be sent to your nominated dealer in 2 weeks they are saying.

I drove this exact car on Sunday (Salesman said I was the first one to drive it). Being quoted £485 a month for 10k miles pa on a PCH , 48 months , 485 up front.I was very impressed with the car, I drove a Polestar 2 the weekend before and I prefer this car.

Nobody does for sure. They have totally fked it up but it seems many have cancelled and on speakEV one guy was emailed this week asking if he wanted one.
My dealer had 3 reserved which they weren’t supposed to do, who knows I’m only 50% bothered as in I don’t “need” it I just thought it’d be a laugh for a year or so whilst new production sorts itself out.

Secured one today. I had an ultimate + tech on order for lease. Now got a gravity gold P45 coming……now I have to fathom out how to return the ipace to align with the P45 arrival. The P45 is cheaper to lease than the ultimate (I told her, she wouldn’t believe me. Man maths wins for once……)

Grey interior? If so that was my car, I changed to black interior. Secured one today. I had an ultimate + tech on order for lease. I’m missing something obvious I think, everyone seems to love the look of this thing but to me it’s a boxy mess of designs that’ll age real quick. Do they drive well or is it just that there’s a lack of decent EVs to chose from?
What the hell is going on with the wheel arch slashes and side mouldings?
Sorry to be blunt but it’s fugly in my opinion.
