Jaguar EV400 Deals?
Discussion
Hello,
Not sure if i should put this this section or the car buying section so please move as appropriate but was scrolling through Instagram the other day and saw an ad for a Jag EV400 for £450 pcm @ 0% finance and a dealer contribution. It also mentioned free home charging installation point.
I mentioned this to the salesman after the test drive and he didnt know anything about it and said to show him and we could work out a deal. Long story short, just looked online and its £600 pcm.
Has anyone else seen the £450 pcm deal? I thought it might have been Marshalls but a quick check of their site and it doesnt show anything. Or have i completely got the deal mixed up and its never £450pcm?
As for the car, found it great. Being my first test drive in a 'performance auto', the way it plied on speed was lovely, it would be interesting to see the 60-100 acceleration times. Wasnt fussed by a lack of engine noise as after having a few rentals, it all sounded the same and just road noise. Liked the weighted steering as well
Do think it needs a HUD and i guess you get used to it but wasnt a fan of not being able to pinpoint where the passengers side leading edge was. Also the rear view mirror is pointless as the rear screen is tiny. Would also be handy to have front camera for parking due to again, not knowing the drop off point.
Kinda cant wait to see what the Dodge EV Muscle car looks and performs like now though the lack of engine noise might be disturbing but i guess its nothing an outdoor speaker couldnt solve.
Edit - Just specced a car, HUD and 360 cameras are available as options, so that solves those issues

I think you will struggle to get one specced with HUD and 360. Tried to order a black pack hse and dealer wouldn’t accept the order as they can’t fulfil due to chip shortage (tried via octopus salary sacrifice) managed to find one on Jaguar stock which has these so fingers crossed it has them as advertised
I did ask the dealer about the availability and he mentioned that there's a few prebuilt kicking around not registered but didn't really say the time line for building one.
Unless I can find the 450 pcm, I'd probably rule myself out tbh as I wouldn't use it enough to justify the extra outlay vs petrol money recouped if you know what I mean.
Lovely car though and was nice to be given the keys, 200 miles in the tank and no time limit if I wanted.

450pm is incredibly low for an iPace. I can only imagine this was some of the last pre-facelift advertised on BCH i.e. business hire and ex vat. Which would be about right for a boggo, stock ipace. I.e. circa 550p/m retail.
Or it was advertised with the petrol savings 'included' as Tesla used to do.
A reasonable spec iPace is more like 750ish. You can get a Merc EQA for around 500. Though I have no clue if it's st or not.
I'd poke around John Clark who tend to have top deals.

Clear sight rear mirror is really clever and fixes that rear view issue on IPACE.
Hello,Yep I saw that after my initial posting and then went on the build your own.
So flicking through insta again and it popped up, I cba to upload a pic but if anyone else is interested I will do but it basically 495 pcm + 4455 ir (+vat)
Plus you get home smart charger and installation
All via Marshalls.
I guess I never saw the +vat but in my excitement but it comes to around 600 Inc vat.
Also managed to find some graphs on the acceleration curve and stuff.
0-100 mph is around 11.1 seconds
So not as quick as I thought
Ah well, still a lovely car though
Great car. But don’t bother with one, when they go wrong, and they will, the dealer back up and customer service is woeful.
We’ve had a battery issue, booked it in 8 weeks ago, went in for a day - “yes you’re right there is a problem, but we need more time to look at it” we’ll book you back in - 5 weeks time ok??
Jaguar customer service - are toothless.
