The other issue with getting a new Tesla is that they come with that stupid yoke instead of a proper wheel. In some ways the latest version is worse than your older one.

Did you happen to buy the "Full Self Driving" upgrade, by the way? It's been over 5 years since they started selling that, and it's still nowhere near ready. What will you do if the car reaches end of life before they deliver the feature you paid for?

Oh no, I didn't realise buying a car was so complicted!

My EV is a company car and:
- It's lower cost to me than a petrol car
- Cheap company car tax
- It has a nice stereo
- Only EV's on the company car list
- Can't be bothered leasing personally, given current deals

Certainly didn't buy it for status, it's a KIA.

Is the OP another person worried about things changing?
