Tesla's tech is in the drivetrain, AP and the UI. I completely agree it misses out on a huge amount of very useful technology, and having changed to another EV recently after 2 years and 18k miles one of the only things I miss is sentry mode.

With no Carplay/AA you get pretty rudimentary satnav, often glitchy spotify streaming and not a lot else you'll use regularly. Netlfix came in handy a couple of times and the stereo is very good but even on the £60k Performance model the rest feels like a mid spec car as above. No option for matrix lights, surround view parking, adaptive suspension, HUD etc. plus naff auto wipers/auto high beam and overly nervous ACC.

I've had mine since the end of June, really happy with it.

As for options, you have made a good start, the standard options don't include a powered boot, it is deep down the option list, feels a bit lacking without it.

I included faster charging (now standard, although never yet seen charging at over 50), the pan sunroof (which is lovely), tow bar (depends on your needs) and a few others. The rear parking camera is useful but sometimes a bit dark.

My realistic range in an Enyaq 60.is 240 in summer, 200 in winter (without a heat pump, 19" wheels).

There is a very active Facebook Enyaq uk group.

Thanks for that: have joined the Facebook group.

In terms of options the car we saw had the powered boot. It’s not something we’ve had before and seeing it on the car did not sell it to us as a must-have. It’s £500 to go from Convenience to Convenience+ so we will be leaving that

The wife really does not want the sunroof! And we don’t tow: had a 5 series touring with a tow bar for 7 years and we didn’t use the tow bar once. In fact it ended up being a liability as it eventually went wrong and threw an error on the dash every time the car was started
