Holy thread revival batman

Couldn't find a more recent dedicated ZS EV thread. Wife's has just had its 2nd year service and needed a replacement rear coil spring due to a crack/break but nothing we'd noticed while driving.

Aside from that, nothing to report 11000 miles and 2 years of trouble free motoring

Apparently software has been updated so will have to see if that has any noticeable differences

Good to know. You planning on keeping it for a while?

Interesting - my wife's ZS EV had a rear spring replaced recently which was done under warranty. Perhaps it's a 'thing' with them. We have had many visits to the dealer due to a whole host of worrying dashboard warnings - everything and everything used to regularly flash up as being unavailable and 'take straight to dealer' etc. The sat nav would rarely work and the whole infotainment would have regular meltdowns. Many dealer system updates later it now seems to have sorted itself out.

We were close to getting rid but now it's fixed will hang onto it - it's not worth much now anyway as the prices have fallen through the floor so we will keep it for what it does perfectly - a second car that we can use and not worry about where we park it or what we do with it.

It’s not a long term keeper, will just trade it in at the pcp balloon.

Reading up on mgevs forum there was a spate of 2022 cars with broken springs, talk of a recall and then it went away. I guess it’s a bad batch of springs. At least they were in stock, collected, serviced, springs swappped and dropped back in 4 hours.
