Charger cable plug HOT, car wont fully charge
Discussion
Experienced this first on Saturday, Peugeot e-2008, only charged to about 70% of the max then threw a red warning light on the car.
Yesterday, only charged to 60% and same red light - the plug that goes into the car is red hot.
Any ideas on whether its just the current weather, though my other car (Mii electric) is fine, or if the cable is knackered?

Hot plugs are a symptom of a bad connection. The only way to find out if it's the car is to try and charge the car elsewhere, using AC (not DC 50kw as that uses different pins in the socket). Try and find someone with same or similar capacity car and see if they will try your connection.
Is the car socket clean inside?
The car has temperature sensors in the socket to detect a temperature rise, thats how it knows, but it doesn't know if tt's the plug or socket causing the problem
