Found this - fun fact, an MOT centre cannot refuse to do an MOT just because a car is hybrid or electric.

I was quite surprised to get refused from a couple of MOT stations trying to get a Model X MOT'd.

There were two clear camps, the "Can't help coz its an EV innit, needs specialist equipment" clowns - quite helpful as I know never to let any car near them - and the "uh it's still a car mate, bring it on in" brigade.

The MOT shop that took it in on my preferred time scale asked I hung around just in case I needed to enter a PIN or advise on something unfamiliar to them, but had no issues following the guidelines their computer apparently gave them.

Ah the pin, we have something in for tyres, a quick text to the owner - can you put it in valet mode and all is well.
