Snap, saw one in red driving around yesterday, thought it looked brilliant, a proper cohesive design.

Would love one, but a bit too rich for me unless something spectacular happens with the company car pricing.
I'd like one too but don't have enough kids to justify it biglaugh
My iX is probably better overall anyway

And the real bonus of driving an IX is that you don't have to look at the outside of it. laugh

My brain cannot comprehend just how ugly this car is.

Or the fact that some people like it.

It looks like a bad Lego model.

It has real presence in the metal.

It's not a "pretty" car, nor will it be timeless I suspect (the XC90 is at least the latter). But to my eyes it looks good (in black or grey).

I had a go in one today.

Decided it was a 'no' for us.

Volvo had a sales event on and the deal was very good on a new XC90 T8 Ultimate. Overall quality of the car was just that bit better when spending this sort of money (though there are some frustrating backward steps, compared with our 7yr old one, with the infotainment), and having looked at the mileage we do, we think the PHEV format will likely give us the vast majority of the benefits of EV whilst eradicating range anxiety (OH) and meaning no compromise towing (limited use case, but there nonetheless).

Shame as we liked the EV9 and the dealer was great - actually wanted to sell a car, followed up etc. But ultimately couldn't match the dealer contribution rate nor 0% APR (new car versus nearing end of the road model syndrome I guess).

Hi. Anyone seen any good deals on this? Best I can find (from leaseloco etc) for 8k miles per year is around £1k per month for 48 months - so total cost of £48k for 4 years. This is for the top of the range Kia EV9 GT-Line S.

It is a lovely car and ideal for our family but paying just shy of £50k sounds a lot - essentially paying 65% off the total list price (£77k) with nothing to show for it at the end of contract.

I am hoping further deals should come in the next few months if sales are not going as expected...

It’s likely to depreciate like a stone. No wonder the lease price is so high.

I imagine a "healthy premium" means 80-90k minimum.

Without big upticks in quality, that will keep it pretty rare.
