Car list is out for work and this is my current top contender.

Anyone with one (80 model) she’s any more light than the reviewers on YT etc?

Will be SUV spec I’d go for. Thinking just single motor for extra range or is it worth sacrificing a bit for the dual motor 4x4?

We have the 80, in basic spec though. Great motor. Very good quality and good range. In the summer we could get 280+, winter 240ish. Only issue we have had is the charging system has been flaky. It is now in for a massive part replacement to try and fix this, and has been so for over three weeks. Apart from that, I would thoroughly recommend it.

What’s charging speed like? What is your driving mix? Do you have heat pump on it?

Yes we do have the heat pump. Only ever charged it at home, but it does have 125kw functionality.
Driving is a very varied mix. 6 miles of town per day, then a mixture of motorway and A roads.

Enyaq is a great car, I had one on order BUT there is a MY2024 coming with an 85kw battery, substantial power boost, faster charging and version 4 software.

Version 4 and future enhacements will NOT be compatible with the current Enyaq so I had a choice of waiting for MY2024 which is to be launched with the L&K version, but there is no date for this.

I couldnt stomach having something on order that was already obsolete in my opinion.

Ordered a Nissan Ariya instead, slightly less boot but even more kit and a much more modern place to be for the same money.

FWIW I had a 2WD 80 Sportline Plus on order.

I saw one of those the other day. Looks nice from the outside, but the inside is hideous (in my opinion obviously). Like the ID 4 and ID 3, they are going full out spaceship. Maybe it's my age, but I prefer a much more traditional dash layout. No idea on the spec though.

I think full on spaceship is the idea although the VAG products are much more traditional car with ipad nailed to the dashboard albeit no actual buttons.

The Ariya has all the usual dials and stuff digitally in front of the wheel anyway in fact much more traditional than the Enyaqs micro display plus more physical (OK haptic) buttons on the dash trim.

Nonetheless, if I had maintained any confidence in Skoda being able to deliver me something and not immediately make it out of date I'd have probably stuck but boredom and impatience meant I went elsewhere.

Should be here in 2 weeks or so, earlier than advised.

We have a 60 as the family car. I've been really impressed. Summer range up to 240, winter nearer 200. The best bit in the range discussion is how accurately it predicts it. For a long journey I charge to about 20miles more than I need. Pretty handy. Enjoy.

That’s pretty respectable for the smaller one.
