Picking up my ipace on Thursday… it’s a MY20 SE, been a 6 week wait whilst the Jaguar dealer replaced a battery module as a result of the H441 update in prep.
On the face of it £8k for two years and 30k miles motoring still seems a decent deal (car will be returned at end of PCP) so will see how this experiment goes…
So you've got a PCP for roughly £330/month (including any deposit) over 2 years based on covering 15k miles/annum? That sounds pretty good, especially if you've got a Jaguar 2-year warranty and a wall box supplied and installed as part of the deal. Is it the case that these approved used deals have dried up for now? My Dad quite fancies one but I'm steering him towards approved used with warranty etc etc. Nothing anywhere close to the above on the Jaguar site.
This was with a northern dealer (Lloyds). Their online finance calc was pretty good and the salesman shaved a bit more off. I saw they had one in Carlisle recently looked similar price on the finance, might have gone now.
It will be a good deal if it proves to be mostly reliable! I am coming from a RAV4 where reliability was a given, but excitement less so. Thankfully the deal includes jag assist for two years which apparently is pretty good and jumps you up the queue if there’s problems.

Regardless, I think you've got a good deal so enjoy when you get to pick it up - will be interested to hear how you get on!

Errrrrr………….
Sorry if I’m talking rubbish - please correct me. I’m new to JLR and only going off what I can infer from other forum posts. They didn’t, simply said book it in with a dealer. I tried to do that with 3 separate dealers, nobody really wanted to deal and were quoting months just to accept it in for a diagnosis check. I referred back to J Assist to complain and they weren’t interested.
Long story short my car is still not fixed, 6 months later and I’m currently driving around in a RR Evoque, as my iPace is stuck on a ramp with its battery hanging out (for potentially another 2 months).

I assume the RR Evoque is a courtesy car?'68 plate SE, 92k miles, £14k

There was a black 'S' on 99k miles up for £13,100 for a couple of days, but presumably now sold.

15% battery degradation - no thanks

I think any Jag approaching 100k miles is a potential problem child long before worrying too much about range! Nothing to do with EV, everything to do with JLR..Could make a good runaround
A dealer, so some comeback if it’s defective
Looks cheap motoring
Although the insurance could be a bit steep!

Personally I found the insurance just fine up until 7 months ago when the lease ended. Probably still ok, worth a check though. I think I paid £700 ish a year with a few extras such as roadside and windscreen cover.

It's a report that you can request from the dealer:
Custard:
(I'm not in the market for an I-Pace currently but keen to know for the future)Mystic Meg / Made Up
Apologies if fact is incoming

I'm curious, where are you seeing the car's battery health?(I'm not in the market for an I-Pace currently but keen to know for the future)

What's the craic there? They do tend to have the best prices around. They do seem to be a bit of a PITA with a lot of stock though - anything you might be interested in (even that one, for example) appears to be 'reserved'. Not sure how, as they don't have the AT option, and there's nothing on their website either.
There's a strong chance I'd have taken a risk on it if they'd have been willing to even offer it for sale, but that weird "I know you're hear but some random person who isn't here has bagsy'd a look at it" way of doing this is quite off-putting
