Yeah that would work for sure
Forgot to ask you, what deflectors are those? I’ve seen Team Heko ones and some cheaper ones on hardtopsuk.com
They are the Hardtopuk ones. Ordered them off of their eBay store, about £37 I think.

Ah nice! The ones on their website look different to the ones you’ve got. Website look like they stick on to the frame via 3M but yours look like they clip in? That’s why I thought they might be the Heko ones.

Got a link for the ones you bought as can’t seem to find them on eBay?

This is the link but looks like they are sold out at the moment;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304968148447?mkcid=16&a...

But they are the stick on type, with 3m tape, but they are very solid, don’t move once pressed on.

Hi folks - Bit of a basic one. The second key we have is a basic key with no alarm function. Every time we try and open it up using it, the alarm goes off.

Thinking of ordering another key with alarm function.

Yes? It won’t be cheap for a second remote key but a Maxus dealer should be able to supply one.

Cheers. Wondered if I was missing something as the second key is a glorified key ring.

Everyone still enjoying their Maxus? Getting Apple CarPlay to work is my only gripe with it.

I did a motorway journey with it and got 170 miles out of it which I was happy with. In comparison I used it for commuting to work all last week, which is a 10 mile round trip, trips to the gym, shops etc and I only got 90 miles out of it. A bit surprised as always thought EV’s are more economical with town driving because of the frequent braking regen. Still crazy cheap to run but definitely expected more miles out of it with city driving.

That’s odd, similar motorway range but when around town/30/40 zones get much closer to 200 miles. GOM seems much more accurate at lower speeds.
I have an android phone so had to get one of those CarPlay boxes off EBay (about £35) and it connects via wireless android auto every time, which is good because the inbuilt radio is terrible, always struggles to hold a signal.
But I love the truck, suits my use perfectly. In fact I prefer driving it to the two other cars I’ve had recently, a 4 year old Jaguar iPace and a brand new Range Rover Evoque. With the keys to all three, I invariably take the T90. It’s just such a honest workhorse and I don’t worry about dumping anything in the back for a tip run or whatever.
At the moment, if the price was right at the end of the lease, I’d consider buying it.

Were you using the heater a lot from cold on thoSlide clipboard items to delete those short trips? Both our Tesla and Hilux do much better in slow day to day running than on long fast runs so I would expect an electric pickup to follow that trend even more strongly!

Yeah I thought it was strange. I put the heating on 29/30, speed 3/4 for only a few mins then drop it back down to 27, speed 1. The only thing I can think is I’m too heavy footed with it lol and harsh acceleration probably doesn’t help. Still surprised to see it tank the range by almost half. I think I’ve done 55 miles since last charge and I’m close to half reading again. Must be my city driving as the range I got on the motorway is in line with others.

I found a leather wrap for the steering wheel from AliExpress that I’ll try and fit this weekend. I’ll post pics once it’s done if anyone is interested. I think it’ll be a nice upgrade for the ‘sandpaper’ steering wheel lol
