Better still, the Telegraph article wildly distorts the SMMT report it is supposed to be based on. What they tell you about electric cars (the thread title) is that they are terrible and nobody wants them. Look! Sales are down!!!

Then you read the actual SMMT release and note that vs the monthly average *petrol sales are down too*. And that in the quarter EV sales are rising faster than the average and petrol isn't.

What they don't tell you about electric cars is that the right wing media hate them (woke, environmental, leftie etc) and work very very hard publishing FUD to discredit them.

I don’t intend to click on anything related to the Telegraph, but the word “revert” suggests people are selling EVs to move back to ICE cars. Do they have actual data to back that up?

Nothing of the sort. Demand for EV and petrol down on last month and petrol down more than EV. If you’re going to repeat this rubbish parrot fashion try to understand it first.

Has RedBird IMI sold its share in the Telegraph?

If not, I'm sure RedBird's owner Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also Chairman of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, has no interest in pushing articles that help prolong the use ICE cars.
