The two-ways are utterly useless when you get there as there is massive cross-talk, unless you have the coded ones.

Much more useful for the convoy.

38 codes on 8 channels ... are you saying 304 frequencies won't be enough to find some airspace now and then ???

Don't forget that there are only 8 actual frequencies. The CTSS codes just break the squelch on your radio when they detect the right code (actually just a sub-tone). You can still only have 8 people transmitting at the same time regardless of how many CTSS codes you have.

we are runing motorola talkabouts but they are all from the USA and on different frequencies, that means we get shed loads less traffic
