Fantastic result!! Brilliant teamwork and effort from all the guys in the team!! Well done TVR!! I feel immensely proud, and part of the TVR family! Seeing our cars crossing the line gave me goose pimples all over!!

Utterly brilliant - well done Peter Wheeler and all the rest!

Top marks to the monkey bike-riding nutter on the ITV coverage, with a perfect flip into the paddling pool!!!!

There's NO WAY I am missing it next year.

Well done to:
- Tom Kristensen for equalling Jacky Ickx record.
- Johnny Herbert for yet another podium finish.
- Colin McRae for 3rd in GTS on circuit racing debut!
- Nasamax 17th... proving that alternative fuel has a future.
- TVR 22nd and 23rd... nice formation driving at end
- Lister Storm 25th
- Morgan 28th, despite stopping on Mulsanne for 3 hours!

Also, big up to galant non-finishers:
- Martin Short and Rollcenter racing who ran 4th before retiring.
- Zytek for putting the wind up Audi by qualifying 3rd on grid.
- Taurus Caterpillar for a nobel and innovative effort.

I'll be honest and say I had my doubts whether they would do it, but what a result! TVR can feel veryproud tonight (well done Morgan aswell)

Well done TVR and Morgan too!

Congratulations also to Colin McRae who was man enough to realise that he made an "inexperienced mistake" near the end of his first stint, and then went back out and did the business.

And to the mechanics who rebuilt JJ Lahto's and Alan McNish's cars in under 30 minutes - wish you worked in my local dealers lads!

But especialy chuffed to bits about TVR - I think I will have a hoon after my dinner, to celebrate!

Well Done TVR

Looking at the pic above, now that TVR have got the engine reliability sorted maybe they should address the headlight reliability
