Good to see loads of the t-shirts around le mans they looked great, but did anyone else find they attracted 1000's of bugs?

I thought it was just me... and related to the smell that normally lingers around me!

Try driving a shiny yellow car!

Every time I stopped it attracted thousands of greenfly and little black shiny bugs.....oh and Corvette fans!

Me, but you knew that already

I took mine off and put it over the tent, 30 mins later it had turned black as there so many insects on it.

Still, if Ted ever needs to set up an insect trapping venture, Fly-Pies, for example, he's well on the way to having the right tool ;-p

Am I the only one who didn't see a single PHer t-shirt all week?!

True I had to miss the fun on the Mulsanne & at Arnage on Friday due to work, but it was a just a sea of purple the rest of the time.

I saw HUNDREDS!

I walked past 2 in La Chartre on friday morning and had to do a double take.

They seemed to be bloody everywhere!

I seem to recall standing infront of 3 phers walking into the circuit at the Maison Blanche entrance on the saturday afternoon I think. I was wearing the 2003 LM Shirt with the Bentley and a TVR cap. But I was too engrosed in RLM to be bothered to turn round and say hello

Nearly knocked a PHer of his feet walking past the back of the bug Total grandstand. Didn't recognise the t-shirt until I was passed him

There was a bloke sitting in one of the front rows of Tribune 14 with a PH rugby shirt on. I was sitting about 10 rows back, again, RLM had my attention.

I thought they looked just so "last year" sorry but it did seem like they were trying to be in DeWalt colours when clearly Purple is the new Yellow

Next year get yourself down to Arnarge corner on Friday. Of the 150 that went, nearly all of them must have been there.

I had a but of a moment though.
People were coming up to me and introducing themselves and I asked how they knew it was me.
Might possibly have been the fact my user name was in big letters across my back!

I thought it was deliberate and well done, it meant that people backed away because of the insects so that at arnage white_van_man cleared a space at the front for us to film.....

There is an amusing photo of me somewhere on his shoulders with a camcorder !!
