Only accident I saw was a big arctic hit the central reservation northbound to Calais while we were southbound. Happened about 200m in front of me, which caused much brown-trouser-emergency-braking things as I tried to work out if it was going to mount the central reservation in an effort to say hello to the Chim. He managed to keep it under control and was pulling over as we blew past. Scary moment though.

we lost 2 TVRs from our convoy and damaged the 3rd,
The tuscans gear linkage broke a week before we left the cerbra poped a seal on the clutch slave cylinder and the griff grounded itself on a cerb trying to get into a secure hotel car park, but made it there and back
Hey, the Griff's hardier than that you know! Only the front splitter got a bit mangled, but it was still hanging on gamely by the time I got home to Windsor.

Saw a yellow Ultima on the Rouen/Boulogne road receiving attention. Assumed the engine had gone pop.
Later saw it on the back of a transporter. Looked expensive. Anyone from here??
I stopped for him.
He wasnt originally someone from here...but he is now
I'll leave it to him to tell you more if he wishes to.

A freind saw a VX220 Aquaplane, hit the central reservation, go up and down the bank, then into a ditch on the way down, not far outside Calais on the Friday in the wet.
think (and hope) everyone was ok.

Here's a Caterham that steam cleaned the underside, inside, topside, leftside, rightside, and any other sides around!
Nothing serious - I saw them later in Bleu and it looked like it just lost a hose. It was actually a good place to lose it - close to home where they could push it back to their campsite and make repairs..

A chap I work with has just told me about T350, which went into a ditch nose first after an overtaking manouevre went wrong....
North of Alencon on Monday..
Anyone here?
My mate was in the Shogun who pulled the car out of the ditch, Both driver and passenger OK. He said they might have been Father & Son.
He also added that the Son 'Shat' himself during the incident, so I understand if you might not want to own up...
The car looked OK and driveable just a few minor cosmetic scratches..

That was one our ButtMonkey team and you should hear it from the pilot and co-pilot in their own words ('F***********************k!!!!). The road was long straight and clear, they followed Baz's S2000 into an overtake, a R5 appeared out of the haze/shade/dip, the S2000 was past and cut in sharpish leaving Papa Doc and the Shepster staring down the R5 barrel at a combined velocity of 150mph+. The Doc put the T350 onto the grass verge, missed the R5 by what shep says was the size of his tackle (ie. v.v. close) but ran out of grip and verge and ended up in the ditch up to his back axle. Both were unhurt and thanks to your mate with the Shogun we got it out, gaffer taped it all up and the Doc got it back home to Hemel with no problems.
Funny your mate thought they were father and son

We saw a silver Tamora drive past us whilst eating in Arnage on Sunday night and then come back crunched on a low loader 30 mins later.
Got the plate but wont mention it here in case you dont want anyone to know!
Hope it all went OK for you.
Wasn't looking too closely at the time and thought it was a T350, but I have it in
one of my video clips as we gave chase for a short while before we got separated by a lorry.
Hope they were ok.

Sounds like ButtMonkey is an appropriate way to describe that kind of driving - why follow someone in an overtake when you can't see what is coming the other way? I saw plenty of nobbish driving on the roads - it's no surprise there were a few more police around this year.
Incidentally, I saw two fairly damaged Audi R8s at around 6pm on the Saturday. It takes more than a 150 mph crash to stop them working though.

When the second one came back into pits withthe front missing it looked very much like a Formula 1 car.
I reckon they made one and stuck a LMP900 lid on it!
I saw what I think was an old Lotus Europa in white with what looked like a broken rear axle on the way home. Someone else had stopped to help him out so I carried on my merry way.
Saw a nasty looking head-on between a French Audi A6 and a French something small just south of Mulsanne, and saw a car and van t-bone situation near Indianapolis on Saturday night at about 2:30am

One of the Bristol Tivs (Joe) was travelling behind the Tuscan when it flipped. It hit standing water, spun, hit oncoming traffic, went into the ditch and rolled!!!!!
Serious brown trouser moment for Joe doing his best to avoid the carnage.
Tuscan occupants went to hospital for a scan and were pronounced OK. They then carried on down to Le Mans!

I saw the VX220 too.
Also on the Friday, I was overtaken in the pouring rain by 2 Porkers and a Beemer in convoy at speed.
Caught them up a few K's later and when one of porkers had some front end damage after going into the armco.
