My mates in a bit of a quandry. For the last couple of years he's gone to LM with the same bunch.

The problem is that next year he wants to go with us instead. He's already been invited to go with the other lot who he says are a bit dull (mainly because they dont drink enough and even have trouble finding the circuit).

He doesnt want to upset this other crowd but he needs to let them down gently.

I told him to say it was his wifes birthday but I dont think its going to wash.

What does the panel advise ?

proper reply: tell the truth and say he wants to go with you guys.

blokey reply: make up a rubbish story which will inevitably get found out cos he's going to go to the event anyway.

I'd go for option 1

I assume you and your mates are tagging a couple of extra days travelling and sightseeing on to the beginning of the trip, and he wants to join you?

Be honest for goodness sake. He's a bloke. Isn't he?

"Look lads I'm going down with a mate of mine this year, probably catch up with you in the Champer's tent"

Simple really ....Isn't it?

Why not tell them that you've just realised that you're gay, and that you're going down with a bunch of liverpudlian transvestites for some action. Probably not far from the truth.

Tell them you've had to trade the Griffith for an MX-5, I'm sure that would change their opinion og you

Why not just say you're going with some other people. Blimey, if someone in the group I organise told me they were gonna go with someone else, I wouldn't take it personally!

Just tell them, and go with who you want! lol
