Yeah, he's talking about race speeds but still clattering along at a fair lick when he can.
There's a bit of total non sync-round Indianapolis and Arnage though. He's talking about the accident and sign well before he gets to Indianapolis and then "accelerating up to Arnage" before he's taken Indianapolis. But before that Mulsanne corner is in sync.

Having watched that Video, I was more interested to see what the track and position of various buildings were in the area. Wouldn't it be great to have a book on the pictorial history of the circuits development?
When Mike Hawthorn leaves the pit straight, notice how much closer the Dunlop Bridge is to the end of the pit straight, the chicane prior to the Bridge is not there. What year did the Dunlop bridge get moved? Love the original Esses, Tet rouge corner is different and Oh for that Mulsanne straight What a difference down at Mulsanne corner
The way the track now elevates over the bridge at the end of the porsche curve to continue onto Corvette Corner (Karting Nord), Has that bridge always been there, or did the road used to be flat and they blocked off the internal road?
Happy Days.

From the look of things the track doesn't curve to the right at the Porsche curves, it continues straight on where the public road / roundabout is now (next to Friday pistonhead meeting), after the footage shows him talking, the next shot appears to show the buildings on the left of the public road that now usually have people camping in the back garden each year, then the straight next to Blue Sud camping and by my reckoning it only rejoins the current track at about where the big wheel now sits after the ford chicanes. Interesting film.
