We did it last year, Lake in his Cerbera and me in my Leon Cupra-R which has far less ground clearance and neither car had a problem.

Only issue I found was the it was very cramped to get in/out of cars, "posh" cars get pride of place with ample door space, but hot hatches were relegated to the cheap seats and you struggle a little.

It's all on one floor which helps, as now high ramps are needed for a higher deck.

We got three calls to embark as we were busy eating ours

Might have been the fact I ordered the king-super-sized one though!

Yep, we went to France last year using Sea Cat and the space to get in and out was quite humourous. All 3 of us, driver and 2 passengers had to get out of the driver's door.
We actually walked off down the ramp so we had space to get into the car, while my dad drove it out!

Apart from that it was great!

evo got their whole fleet of cars onto the sea cat including the lotus's lambo caterham and Ferrari

not used the SeaCat, but when i was coming back from the Ring the chap guiding cars off stopped all the cars so i could get off the ferry at an angle so the front wouldnt hit the ramp!

thumbs up to him for that!

We took two S's (very low exhaust) on the SeaCat a couple of years ago and had no trouble with clearance.

However the return journey was pretty rough - bobs around like a cork in a storm.

Funny I actually like it a bit rough I am often sick when it is calm. Once going to Le Harvre from Portsmouth I managed to 13 times

I used Speed-Ferries speed-cat and got excellent service in my T350.

1 of the crew squatted down to check clearance was OK and guided me on board very slowly. I'd guess it was marginal, there is only 4" clearance under the nose and if it had been choppy within the harbour there may have been a(nother) scrape.
