I might add that that beer will have been extracted with grace and delicacy from our glass fronted beer fridge

Cold, condensation forming on it .... you can see I can't wait for the drinking alone, let alone the rest of it all !!

Last year we had those fridges that run on the car lighter etc.... don't bother just use the paddling pool system that we used that year and the year before - works much better..............

A paddling pool filled with stubbys of beer mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Last year I took the Cupra-R and ran a fridge in the back of that to keeps some drinks cool, ran the engien occasionally to keep the battery topped off and turned it off at night - it managed to keep our drinks and bacon nice and cool

This year I'm taking the Cerbera though and I don't trust the electrics enough to use it again, so it'll be a paddling pool for me too

Yep reason for taking the van down is

a) no tent required i can sleep in the back
b) 5.5KVA generator - just in case
c) proper fridge for beer
d) proper freezer for urgent beer
e) marque etc to put the above fridge and freezer in
f) server thousand watts of site lights - to illuminate the marque
g) nice big telly and satellite setup to watch the race on from the campsite

Lovely, you must pop in and visit the TVR Flying Circus old love....the 384sq ft of camouflage netting will make it difficult to find us but the air raid siren & windsock should help

Tally ho !

Last years effort to use the in-car fridges to cool beer were poor, the best way to cool your beer is with a GIANT paddling pool, put it in the shade of your marquee and enjoy cold beer 24 hours long

It is novelty value that we buy so much that we're still drinking it 3 months after we get back
